Easy (Denzel) finds himself in the middle of nothin good, as he tries to make a dollar. Crooked cops, shady friends, dead bodies, segragated whites, blacks, with a pinch of sugar. What else do you need? The writing was great, acting spectactular, era perfect... It is old style Hollywood well-done. The costume design was wonderful. Don't have Easy place that call to Edda-May Alexander in Houston. Have the pigtails ready, and wear an old shirt. When Mouse shows-up he might put a hole in it.... Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle, Tom Sizemore, Jennifer Beals, give excellent performances, in this suspense , action, thriller......

This is great movie from beginning to end with the different twists throughout the movie. Don Cheadle is just brilliant as Mouse, even though is role is very short, but it has more of an impact than anyone else.

If you're a Walter Mosley fan, this is a great movie with an early Denzel and Don Cheadle. One of my faves and I had to add it to my collection

This a well executed movie with a great storyline.
