Like many series ending seasons, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. Sereis started strong and lost energy.

One of my all time favorite shows! My only complaint is that it ended. But the Dexter character is as fascinating as ever in this final season of an extremely exciting, entertaining show!

Amazing show from the beginning to the bitter sweet end. If you watched from season one. Then you can watch how his decision and internal conflict lead to this dramatic series Finale. A must watch and a must buy

Hubbie has been glued to it! Very good season finale. Of course every Dexter fan has to get this, even if u don't have other seasons this finale really is a must!

This is an addicting show from the first episode. Great characters played by amazing actors with absorbing and disturbing plot lines with great humor mixed in.

The final season was jam packed with suspense. There were a lot of twists and turns to keep me engaged. The cast was excellent (as usual). The ending to this series could have gone several ways; and each direction would have it's surprises and outcomes. I'm sure those were all tossed around by the director and cast members. For me personally, I would have chosen a little different ending, but that's just my opinion as a viewer. This is definitely worth watching - you have to....to have closure with the series!!!

I just really liked the series and am kind of sad that it is over, but that being said the dvd is good if you are a fan of Dexter.

I have liked Dexter since the beginning. Their character development is the best and they vary it to keep it interesting.

A lot of people didn't have good things to say about the last season, but it got it. I understood it. Dexter is a psychopath he isn't always going to do things by the book. He's going to mess up. He's not always going to go by the code. He snapped, which is why he ended up leaving. I think too many people got caught up in dexter being a father and a family man and that's NOT WHO HE WAS. I enjoyed this season a lot.

What is there not to like about this suspense and psychopath thriller series. Dexter Morgan is one of the most complex characters ever developed in a TV series. He is a good guy who cares for people, but has a little dark side and is a serial killer that kills bad people. Haunted by his past see how he overcomes and deals with his demons. Highly recommended to watch and own.

A must have for Dexter fans, bought it on sale and recommend waiting for sale price

I bought seasons 1-7 at Best Buy's Black Fridays over the years before season 8 had premiered. I accidentally bought two season 5's one year, so I decided to exchange the unopened season 5 for the final season 8. Now my collection is complete and I can binge watch Dexter whenever and however often I want to. Great ending to a wonderful series!!

We have watched the whole season probably 10 times! We love it!

Kinda weird camera angles, bad acting at times. Weird pace. Funny that dexter finally got rid of flip phone...haha

Dexter is one of my favorite shows of all time. Knowing it is the final season you don't know what to expect. You know longer have the protection of knowing the show will continue to guard yourself on what will happen. I enjoyed the whole series including this season, the ending will leave you..... feeling something to say the least.
