Had a friend show me the 1st episode from Season 1 of Dexter and I was hooked!!! Been a huge Dexter fan ever since and highly recommend this to anyone. Not just a single "average/mainstream" show. This always has you on the edge of your seat and ready for what's to come next. Originality is dead in so many ways for entertainment, electronics, and more that it's a fresh breath of air to find something that is a leader not a follower. The new season which is 8, of Dexter has just aired on Showtime this past Sunday. If you have the channel, check it out on Sundays @ 9pm (eastern) or purchase the other 7 seasons! Michael C. Hall (Dexter) is actually a native of Eastern NC. He formerly was on a HBO show called Six Feet Under but Dexter is his creation. If you're new to Dexter, go from Season 1 and on.

What is there not to like about this suspense and psychopath thriller series. Dexter Morgan is one of the most complex characters ever developed in a TV series. He is a good guy who cares for people, but has a little dark side and is a serial killer that kills bad people. Haunted by his past see how he overcomes and deals with his demons. Highly recommended to watch and own.

Just didn't get into this season as much as some of the others. I thought it was the worst one of all of them so far. The first few seasons were great. Of course, it's tough to follow The Ice Truck Killer. The early seasons set the bar extremely high, so you know something had to give. Also, I thought the final episode was lame. Don't get me wrong, it's still Dexter. So it's intriguing and fresh. And, although some of the acting is a bit over the top at times, and the plot not believable or realistic, it's very enjoyable. If you're a fan you have to get this season to keep up with Dexter's life. You just may not enjoy this season as much as the previous ones.

With the cliffhanger that Dexter Season 06 left us, Season 07 follows up on that in great fashion. The show, Dexter, started off strongly with Seasons 1 and 2. Season 3 was a bit weaker followed by a spectacular Season 5. Unfortunately, Seasons 5 and 6 were a bit underwhelming. However, Season 7 sets Dexter right again. Buy with confidence1

Being a fan of Dexter since randomly seeing the first 2 episodes, I really enjoyed this season. The series of events unraveling and twisting at every corner kept me wanting more! I especially enjoyed the storyline with Isaac! I am really looking forward to (and also not looking forward to) the eighth and FINAL season.

Another great season of Dexter and one of my favorite shows of all time. Although I'm not thrilled with the way the ended the entire series, Season 7 was great. I loved the chemistry between Isaac and Dexter when they "teamed up," and the season finale was a shocker. A must buy for any Dexter fan.

OMG! This season is better than the last. It was over too quickly. Now I have to wait forever for the next season. Oh well it will give me a chance to review all the previous episodes. Dexter is making way too many mistakes!!!!! I have the blu-rays and have no problems and no spoiler alerts.

I am a Dexter fanatic. From the first season over 8 years ago, until the last I have seen every episode. I've laughed and cried along the way and am saddened that this is the end. However, maybe someone will have a change of heart and bring the series back or even create a spinoff.

Dexter Season 7 is the beginning of a great end to amazing tv series. Admitting Dexters best season were the first two, but with solid writing, directing, and acting, The series is still strong top 10 tv show to date. Its recommended that everyone of age to watch this show.

Dexter is so smooth, getting his way out of jams so easily. Now he needs help and enlists that help from his sister finally telling Deb the truth of who he is and what he has done. He not only tells her but involves her in his scheming. What on earth could be next?

This season of Dexter is by far the best one yet! I have loved Dexter from the first time I say it and it always leaves me wanting more. I am not sure if they are finished with the seasons but if there is another one, I will buy it as well to add to my collection

YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED WITH ANY OF THE INTENSE EPISODES THAT THE DEXTER SERIES HAS TO OFFER. I'M ALWAYS AT THE EDGE OF MY SEAT AND NEVER DISAPPOINTED WITH THE OUTCOME.THE SERIES WILL TRULY BE MISSED.

Dexter is a show that always delivers - season 7 is no different. It's great drama that has good laughs too. I enjoyed the chemistry between Dexter and Isaak Sirko even more than in previous seasons (such as the Trinity Killer season)

Aaahhhhh I love dexter!! I always have and can't wait till the next season comes out. I don't have cable so this is the only way I've ever been able to follow this show. I live that's it usually on sale when it first comes out also!!

I have been a Dexter fan since it first came out. Season 7 was amazing but it is also sad that it is coming to and end. When you know its going to end I guess they can make more risky decisions. It made for a great season though

I don't have Showtime so waiting for this season was torture! This show is one of my favorites and I'm already excited for the next season (that just started) to come out on Blu Ray.

Got seasons 1-3 & 5 when the local Blockbuster shutdown. Totally hooked. Great story lines and acting is fabulous. Usually watch these when flying. Can't wait to see season 4.

After season 6 left off, it was very hard to imagine where the writers were going to take the series, I was on the edge of my seat through this entire season! Just fantastic!

This is a very good season of Dexter. The build up to the last season is almost unbearable. There have been seasons that kind of drag on. This is not one. Love it!!!

A continuation of an entertaining TV series......unusual & interesting casting...not the usual police procedural. Lead character very interesting and well played.
