Great series. Gets a little weird at the very end.

This season was ok compared to the diary four seasons. I just thought that this season would of been better but it was just ok.

I LOVE watching DEXTER on Showtime.... unfortunately, I don't have the service, so I ALWAYS buy each season as it becomes available! The character development is awesome as each continues to adapt to the situations that can change in a flash. It's a darkly humorous show, and I enjoy it each time I watch it. I find myself seeing nuances that I missed the first time I view the episode, so it's like a new episode each time I watch. I have my daughter hooked on it too, and have to keep my DVDs under lock and key!

Having watched the previous 4 seasons on DVD, this purchase was a natural. And I was not disappointed. The acting, cinematography, and story line continue to be in the top of the class. Although a serious drama, there are bits of humor sprinkled through all episodes. And the charachter developement is top notch, making the viewer wanting to know more about them.

I expected Dexter to have a harder time rebounding from Rita"s death, and really enjoyed his interation with her children in previous seasons. It was surprising to see him give them up so easily, but his interaction with Julia Stles character makes it a great season.

Great Series...Once you start you get hooked!! My husband was never interested in the series until he started watching it after me....needless to say, now he is always ahead of me watching the show!

Season 5 definitely will keep you on your toes, and thinking Dexter will get caught. You have to watch for youselves. The price is very good for an entire season DVD. Definitely buy.

We are huge fans of Dexter so of course we added this to our collection. Only a couple of weeks until the new season comes out!

I recommend buying this TV series if you are looking for a good show to get hooked on.
