    Makes up for original D3

Most of us played the original D3 for a few months then ended up never touching it again. It just lacked content and the auction house was the worst addition to the game, making it into a pay-to-win game except unlike most pay-to-win games where you get the game first for free, we already paid 60 bucks to those greedy pigs at Blizzard. This expansion is how the game should have been when it first came out, except Blizzard got lazy and wanted to fatten their wallets with the millions of preorders they already had. Nevertheless, atleast it is finally here, and we can finally have a Diablo game to enjoy playing for countless hours. In my opinion RoS has redeemed the game and I have faith in future installments again.

I own the original game and had stopped playing due to the repetitiveness of it. A friend suggested I get the expansion and try it again as they had addressed a lot of my original concerns. From the beginning I could tell they had corrected most if not all the stuff that bothered me the first time around.

This game is a great addition to the series and one of the best RPGs out there. It has a good story combined with a satisfying combination of spells/abilities, gear, and battle. They also did an excellent job with the Xbox One version. The controls are great and I actually prefer it over the PC version.

Before this DLC, DIablo III was good but not great. Adding this makes it great, plus every few months (at least for now) they are releasing brand new content AND more looting upgrades. My only gripe is I want to ONE or MORE ACTS to round out this episode. But apart from that, its worth it.

RoS is the best expansion ive purchased. I love the Crusader class, they are definitely beast mode. I very much like Adventure Mode as well, such a great addition to the game and a nice way to continue leveling and upgrading gear.

This expansion is a must have for anyone who even remotely still plays Diablo 3, it makes the game much more fun and playable. The new adventure mode has you running 5 missions in each act every time you make a new game to earn bonus rewards or go into a randomly generated dungeon called a rift to just kill and kill and kill swarms of enemies for fast experience grinds. New gems are available to place in gear to make it better and new crafting mats are specific for items level 61-70. Act 5 of the story line doesn't have much replayability with the advent of the adventure mode and the story for act 5 is rather hard compared to the previous acts, but most people only play in adventure mode anyway after they initially beat act 5 and get access to adventure mode.

I had originally pre-ordered D3 the first time around, and although another great Diablo game, it had it's problems. But this expansion, Along with the new patches, has me addicted to this game. This is the game it should have been the first time around!

Diablo III was mildly disappointing but still enjoyable. However, Reaper of Souls xpac is utterly fantastic. Act V introduces new tank archetype - the crusader. I spend hours online with old college buddy gamers every other evening ridding Westmarch of the demons and devils that plague it and we're all overjoyed to do so. Highly recommended!

Game has great graphics and is a fun challenge. Better loot drops at higher difficulties. Excellent replayability. Only downside is that Act 5 story is kinda short, but what else can I expect. It's only a single additional Act.

It's the expansion pack for Diablo 3. If you wanted more content, we have more content. They added an option for random dungeon layouts, the Auction House is gone, and they added a new class. Pretty standard stuff, plus a craftsman that lets you re-roll individual stats on items, as well as change their cosmetic appearance. If these things interest you, then it's probably worth it, given that Blizzard always delivers a quality product. Otherwise, what are you doing reading about it?

Even before Reaper of Souls came out, the upgrade to Loot 2.0 made returned what I liked about Diablo and Diablo 2. Starting where I wanted, running through things, and getting loot. The Auction House overwhelmed most of my gearing experiences and farming gold to buy something on the AH just wasn't fun. Since most of the time you'd get a drop that didn't have your primary stat; if you even got something decent. The inclusions of adventure mode, bounties, and rifts have added additional ways to explore the content and keep it from feeling like a chore. This is nothing like the game that came out two years ago. This is the game you wanted back then.

This expansion adds the new Crusader class, aswell as the adventure mode after completing act 5. In adventure mode you can choose too do bounties, or rifts that both breathe a little freshness into the game. It is still however very gear dependant if you are looking to do teir 6 fights.

I really enjoyed the story line here. While Diablo is out of the picture, keeping the struggle alive between angels and demons goes a long way to furthering the lore. The expansion is a little short (1 additional act), but is DLC and not a second game.

Diablo 3 is a fun game, not many games I play from start to end but I did with Diablo so that makes me want to buy the expansion! It usually takes me months of an hour here and there type of playing so this should last me until Diablo 4 is out!

Diablo 3 was a long awaited breakthrough in the franchise, and the expansion pack continues to make it a very fun game to play. If you've played at all since the beginning of March, you'll notice many of the changes already. Rare and Legendary items are easier to find, potions are easier to work with, there are new crafting materials, and many of the character's abilities have changed. What you get with Reaper of Souls builds on that. You can reach levels above 60, while still keeping your Paragon bonuses, and there's a whole new Act to play. If you like bashing monsters, especially with your friends, there's certainly no shortage of that. You'll find that crushing mobs with your new 60+ powers incredibly satisfying, and these powers bring characters closer to proper support roles for parties. If that isn't enough, there's a whole new character class, the Crusader, to master. Unfortunately, what you'll also find in Diablo 3 is a story which is just as predictable and illogical. Things like Maltheal letting Tyreal live at the beginning of the story to Kormac seriously believing the head of his order had nothing to do with his kidnapping are predictable and leave you scratching your head. If you want to play the game without all the dialog, however, you have two new game modes to choose from. There are no cutscenes to go through, and in adventure mode, you can choose whatever act and quest you would like to start in. Nephalem rifts add on to this element, and the game has successfully recaptured the spirit of the original Diablo where the point was to go bash monsters and get cool loot. The new loot system gives you some really powerful characters, and you'll find many more useful items in drops (even if bats still do drop plate mail). However, it makes merchants even more useless, and crafting items isn't nearly as satisfying anymore because you can find things that are far more powerful in elite drops. With the disappearance of the auction house, it leaves you wondering why crafting even exists. Overall, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls is a must-have for anyone who loves the Diablo 3 franchise. The expansion is choc full of new stuff, and will leave you (and me) wishing we had gotten more sleep on Monday morning.
