One of Warren Beattys great movies from the late 80s or 90! I like watching this movie a few times during the year so I don't get sick of this great mafia classic. Sad they don't make movies like this anymore but I guess the art died with the 80s or early 90s. I'm not sure I would want to see a remake of this now if there ever will be. The beauty of this movie can't be matched now, how movies are! 80s and 90s movies had a certain beauty or art to them. Why Gene Wilder never wanted to be in movies after 2000, didn't feel the same to him! He did quote that once!

Good film! Colorful and excellent music! Problem, would be better if they didn’t try to make it a musical! Action only and would’ve been great!

One of the best early comic strip movies. It definitely keeps to the style of the 20s noir visual style. Need Beatty and Al Pacino were great as Tracy and big boy caprice

This was a family fun movie with very cleverly make-up artistry to make the human characters look like the characters that they represented in the comic version of Dick Tracy. Of course, Dick Tracy was the handsome detective who was always a step ahead of the criminals. Background settings also were cleverly done. Don't forget the popcorn too!

If you're in the mood for a cartoon based live-action flick, Dick Tracy might be able to scratch that itch. The characters are a who's who of the A-list in 1990, and the make-up and costuming are perfect. The story that this film was wrapped around is pretty predictable, but good enough to pop up some popcorn and settle in.

Warren Beatty (Dick Tracy) must stop “Big Boy” Caprice (Al Pacino) in this film inspired by a pulpy comic strip. Madonna takes on a secret identity to get revenge on the gangster who has ruined her life but has she resorted to tactics that are worse than the mobsters, which she despise?

Revisit this classic and often under rated movie from Disney that brings Dick Tracy colorful cast to vivid life in true high def. Betty's performance is great along with a who's who supporting cast. Definitely worth the upgrade to blu ray or a first purchase to those discovering this classic for the first time. Would have given 5 stars, but this copy no longer comes with digital copy.

A movie based on a comic that really feels like a live action comic. I thought this was far more entertaining than any of the modern super hero movies. The blu ray format really made all of the colors pop.

Dick Tracy ultimately pulled in mixed reviews critics gave it four stars and praised its comic-strip artificiality, even comparing it to Batman, writing that the film “is a sweeter, more optimistic movie and outdoes even Batman in the visual departments.”

This has a nice story. I like Madonna's singing in it except the song "More". The crime parts are interesting. The criminals look really weird for the most part. I think it's how they get their names.
