If you're like me, you probably already own this movie on multiple formats, and unfortunately, you're going to want to have this version as well. The audio is the same 5.1 DTS-HD Master soundtrack we've heard before, but the image quality has never looked better. This is definitely one worth picking up again on 4K.

OK, maybe I'm strange, but I had never seen any of the Die Hard films. Now that I've seen this first one I can say it's a great film. And I have no desire to see the rest. Films like Die Hard would have better cinematic cred if they weren't exploited for sequels. And, yes, it's a perfect Christmas movie, or not.

Have to watch it every year to kick of Christmas…yes it is a Christmas movie. Christmas doesnt begin until Hans falls lol.

I bought this specific blu-ray for the Christmas-theme cover. It didn't come with one. I asked Best Buy employees, who weren't able to help. Unfortunately, don't buy this expecting the fun cover. Expect the normal one instead. Other than that, product is as expected.

Despite being one of my all-time favorite films, I held off on buying this 4K edition because I would much prefer to buy the whole series in UHD. But I couldn’t resist when this film was part of a two for $20 Fox sale. Something tells me this will be the last time I buy this movie.

Bruce Willis is the man in this film. This is one movie to add to any action fans collection. You’ll get combat mixed with weaponry and explosions all packed into a single film. A must watch and great Christmas flick!!

My kids love all the old 80s movies I watched as a kid. This one came with digital copy which is the only way we watch them anymore. After watching Elf and HomeAlone for the hundredth time, I couldn’t pass up the chance to show them this “Christmas movie” gem!

Seeing Hans Gruber falling onto Nakatomi Plaza in 4K is awesome. What’s better than Die Hard? Die Hard in 4K. Yippie Ki Ay.

I've watched this classic in regular HD before. The 4K version brings the action to life. Hoping to get the rest of the series in 4K too.

Nicely restored action classic. It looks even better than it did in theaters in 1988. Well worth purchasing.

I have always loved Die Hard since I was a kid. This movie wrapped up in Christmas cheer is just good, clean fun. I look forward to Best Buy's Christmas Movie DVD releases around the holidays each year. (Horror movies also around Halloween too.) Yippie Ki Yay....!

A Christmas movie that is not a Christmas movie,A great classic that purchased the 4k copy of....Well eorth it.

That was released in the Summer of '88. This movie features a everyman police officer, John Mclane, and directed by John McTiernan of Predator fame. It has memorable one-liners, tension, and humor. It also Carl Windslow for some reason. The transfer is fine.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. And now in 4K!!! Just makes it better. 4K makes everything better. A fun movie with lots of action, and suspense. Some of the cops and FBI guys are a little too stupid, but get past that, and it's all good.

Can it get any better than Bruce Willis in diehard? For pure movie entertainment value I don’t think so. Classic lines and comic adventure rarely go hand-in-hand as this movie does. You’ll be entertained from the beginning to the climactic ending.

This classic action film is single-handedly the greatest Christmas movie ever created. Puts you right in the holiday spirit. More so than any tame movie. Make some popcorn, gather the family, and watch this beloved classic!

This a is a good, classic Bruce Willis flick and should serve as a warning that sometimes it's smarter to spend the holidays at home on front of the fireplace, sipping wine and listening to Gene Autry sing "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer".
