Purchased for my child, got one 3 years ago and it lasted until the touch sensors stop working and replace it for the price not bad at all. Camera sucks not recommended for adults

Small , compact yet powerful allows me to access all my files across my network connecting to everything in my home. Excellent for when you don’t want to carry around a large notebook.

This tablet was purchased for my 17 year old daughter at Christmas and it has already messed up twice. The screen is super delicate and gets messed up without even dropping it

A hidden gem! Very nice basic tablet for an excellent price. Similar to their "DL8006" Tablet (smaller 8" size from 2017), but nicely upgraded and updated. SCREEN: Sharp, bright 10.1" 1280x800 IPS screen, looks good at any angle. Excellent picture, especially when watching 1080p video. CPU: MediaTek (best in the business) Quad Core Processor. SPEED: More than good enough. I'm not a gamer, so haven't tested it with any graphics-intensive games, but for getting around the android system, speed is just fine. BATTERY: Excellent! Lasts a LONG time, especially compared to other inexpensive tablets. The battery life claim isn't an exaggeration. I also have their 2017 "DL8006" model (which has a 4500ma battery) and the battery life on that was amazing -- and this model sports a 5000ma battery. So far in using it, the battery life is just as long, if not longer. This is a much better battery than you'll find in any other budget tab (as is its high-quality IPS screen). SPEAKERS: Unlike the old DL8006 (which was mono), this has a set of stereo speakers (two) on the bottom back. While not audiophile quality, they're more than loud enough and decent enough for everyday use (and there's a headphone jack for you to plug in good headphones if you want). Definite improvement in the audio from the previous model. ANDROID: Latest Android 10 WIFI: Works Great! MEMORY: Lots of built-in memory. 32GB Internal Storage (nice upgrade from the 8GB in the 2017 model). Plus, you can insert an SD Card for more storage. Note that even though the box says you can insert an SD Card "up to 128GB", you most likely can insert even larger SD Cards. On their old 2017 model, the box said you could insert an SD Card "Up to 32GB" -- and I was able to insert and use a 128GB SD Card just fine. I don't own any cards larger than 128GB at the moment, so for now I just have a 128GB card in this new one, and it works great. NOTE: When you insert an SD Card, Android will ask if you want it formatted as "INTERNAL" (for apps, etc) or "PORTABLE" memory (that you can easily unplug from the system and take out -- ie, for stuff like video files and pictures, etc). My advice is: unless you REALLY need the extra storage for Apps (and remember, the unit comes with 32GB of internal memory built in) then select "PORTALBE". The reasons? (a) If the card is formatted as "Internal" and the card goes bad (as some have with me over the years) then it screws up your entire tablet -- just as if the internal storage had gone bad. If it's "portable" than at most you'll lose the data on the card, but it won't screw up the whole tablet. (b) A quirk with Android (at least with earlier verisons, haven't verified if this is still the case with Android 10) is that if it's set as "Internal", you CAN'T just drag-and-drop files from, say, a PC or Mac directly to an "Internal"-formatted SD Card -- you must FIRST put it to the built-in internal memory, then transfer it to the SD Card, which is a hassle. If you set it as "Portable" instead, then you CAN just drag-and-drop files from your PC to a "Portable" formatted SD Card. SYSTEM RAM: 2GB LACK OF JUNK: One of the nicest things about it, is that it is NOT loaded down with a bunch of junk -- no "trial" apps, junk, or ads (I want a Tablet -- not an advertising device for an online retailer). Just the stock Android, so you can make the tablet the way YOU want it, without a bunch of junk. INTERESTING QUIRK: For some reason the "VOLUME +/-" slider is reversed: ie, hitting the bottom ("left" side) of it INCREASES the volume, and hitting the top ("right" side) DECREASES the volume (it's reversed from what it would normally be). SUPPORT: Don't expect much. The Chinese manufacturer's webpage hasn't been updated in years, and there's no mention of this or any other current model (it was the same way a few years ago too). They do have an office in California, and a few years back I tried calling their phone number, but got only an answering meachine telling me to leave a message and they'd call back (I didn't bother). They do list an email as well, but honestly, don't expect much in terms of support. HOWEVER: I've owned their (2017 model) DL8006 Tablet for 3 years now, and it's performed flawlessly, without a problem. This new DL1036 model seems to be a nicely upgraded/updated version of the DL1036, and seems just as well put together. BOTTOM LINE: A hidden gem! The only downside to this unit is that Support will definitely be lacking compared to a major manufacturer. But if you're okay with that, you'll get a crisp, sharp 10.1" IPS screen, VERY long battery life, and good speed. Please note that it's not going to beat a top-of-the-line, expensive tablet, but it's by far the best of the budget tablets out there, and I'm surprised just how good it is for the price. After buying their 2017 model 3 years ago with its flawless performance, I had no qualms about upgrading and getting this one. It's not an Apple iPad... but it's a nice machine, and the best basic, affordable 10" tablet you can buy.
