You get what you pay for. It does what I want although if I had a chance I would have bought a different one, but it is serving the purpose right now and for the price I paid.

This is a practical accessory for mobile video/photo user. It allows to adapt and capture scenes which might have been more difficult to obtain without the unit.

Product is a joke. Does not stabilize anything. Holding camera with my hand was 1000% more stable than this product. Real piece of junk.

It says can be used with cameras, but I guess only point and shoot. It's on the borderline of working with mirrorless camera

The product does. It stabilize as promised. Does not work with digital cameras, phone cameras or go pro. Your better off saving your money and attaching it a dog.. that would stabilize it better.

Take my word on this, you have to master the calibration before using this bad boy. The screw on weights are a great addition to the stabilization process. Once properly calibrated, you're good to go with smooth video footage.

I figured at the close out price of under $18 bucks I couldn't go wrong but it just doesn't work. Instead of jittery video I now get swaying seasick images. I tried it with a small mirrorless dslr, GoPro hero 4 black and iPhone 6s Plus with the same experience with all. Pro: cheap, easy to setup and balance, it does smooth out jitters Con: not very fluid/smooth video

After reading the reviews for this product it was quite clear that the issue with this product was simple, people are using it incorrectly. It's not designed for use with heavy items. I use this with my Sony action cam and it works without fail. Use it for your GoPro as well or any camera that doesn't have a large or heavy overhang like a long DSLR lens. Small camcorders should work fine as long as you don't have the LCD openeded because of the weight of the screen may cause the camera to lean because of the weight of the LCD. I would recommend this product for any small action camera. Set up was easy, only a few minutes and the cell phone attachment works with my iPhone 6 Plus with a case.

Easy to assemble and balance my Gopro. Handle was a little stiff to start. Put a drop of oil in the gimbal and it now swings more freely. As long as you move the handle smoothly, it works well... none of these things would work if you swing the camera wildly.

    Not for DSLR's

I purchased this online and came home very excited to try this out with my Canon rebel t3i. I was very disappointed when I realized that despite the description saying it works with DSLR's, it does not. You would be better off just holding the camera with your hands because when I would move the stabilizer it would just tip over/ slam into my hand. According to youtube videos this works well with go pros but for a DSLR, definitely would not recommend.

Seems to work good but has a few issues

I've played around with it a bit It seems to work well with go pro how ever it does work with DSLRs as advertised. You would need a more substantial stabilizer for that. Balancing the unit is easy The other problem I noted was the adapter does not fit the GoPro without forcing it. The tines on the mount need to be forcibly spread in order to mount the go pro If I get a regular video camera to use with it will have to be very light and I will take the stabilizer to the store to make sure it's compatible.

The stabilizer is a good product for small cameras like gopro or pocket size camera. This will not workwell for SLR camera which are too heavy to balance.

    Ok Stabilizer

The stabilizer works "Ok", not great. I can't really complain because the price tag represents that. I bought this for use with a GoPro out at a Motocross track. It shakes pretty bad, especially while panning. I tried a DSLR on it and it was WAY WORSE. So in conclusion, action cam, i.e. GoPro/SonyActionCam - OK, DLSR-NO
