The unit I purchased from the Thousand Oaks location did not have the adapter style plug. It only had the end for the battery pack & no way to interchange this. Either the photo on the website is wrong, or someone pulled a fat one and switched out a lesser product and then returned (and I got their returned item). This is highly possible, since the day after I returned it myself, I noticed it back on the shelf.
