I bought two of these in august 2023 and used them for few times. Other day I needed to record something I tried to turn on them. One is completely dead and does not take the charge. The other one still works. My purchase is still under warranty. I hope they send me a replacement or refund to me. I liked the lighting style but battery getting dried so quickly is disappointing. I will update the rating after manufacturer response.

These are just what I needed to provide better lighting for my home office video calls. I was able to set up some camera mounts above each side of my desk and these screw on easily. The battery life is great, they last through a full work day of usage.

This Digipower Trimate is a very handy light that I wish I had even sooner! Throughout the pandemic, I stayed indoors in my pod and so I did a lot of virtual audiences for various TV shows - The Voice, The View, Kelly Clarkson, etc. For these shows, they required me to be well lit from the front. I used to use my nightstand table lamp which wasn’t quite adequate, but mostly did the trick with a few shadows and the window shade opened to allow more light! Using this Digipower Trimate video call/vlogging light I am able to use its multi-positional arms & 5 brightness levels to get the perfect lighting on my head and torso. It is certainly bright enough with its 162 LEDs! I don’t have a tripod yet to set it on, but it is absolutely not necessary. With its rubber base, I can set it on a flat surface or wedge it up anywhere. There is no cord to get in the way as it is rechargeable and charges quickly with its USB-C cord. They say the charge lasts through16 hours of continuous use. I haven’t put that to the test. With the included wireless magnetic remote, I was able to get everything positioned ahead of time and then just turned it on when I needed to use it for the shows. I tried a ring light which caused a lot of shadows and definitely inadequate lighting for my purposes (and was returned). This Trimate works just as I need and I highly recommend it for whatever your video lighting needs may be.

I was somewhat disappointed over the on/off sensitivity of the light. Sometimes it works plus you have to be really close to the light in order to use the control.

This is light perfect for on the go and easy set up. I do Zoom Conferencing, Filming, Photography, and Streaming. It has been a perfect addition to my set up. It has alot of versatility. You can use it multiple configurations. You can have in its closed mode as just a light bar or you can articulate with its three arms in how you see fit.  You can also have one, two, or three light shining at once. I love how it has a tripod mount on it for easy mounting and setup. The form factor is small and light. I love the fact you van recharge it and it USB C! So many devices don't have it and I'm glad to see it on this device. The included remote is great, and when you are not using it attaches the bottom of the of the light via magnet. The light is very very bright. You can dim it down and change the color temperature match the subject and location. This light is a perfect run and gun and streaming light to give you that extra detail and depth you need in your videos.
