It did not work or help the disk and the disk had only minor scratches.

I didn't want to pay an extra $20 to get the DVD Dr that you need batteries for. It wasn't hard to assemble. It's really hard to actually do this on your own. You have to hold the base of it, while spinning the lever. It already saved one DVD, and I can't wait to try it on more.

I purchased this yesterday and I already love it! It is simple to use. I have already repaired 6 dvds. I have 3 children and they love their movies but they aren't very gentle so things get scratched. This has saved my sanity. It's great. It's portable. It's a great value. All I can say is IT WORKS!

I was very skeptical about purchasing this item. I looked at a few reviews and decided to give it a try. I have many scratched movies due to my two young children. I picked one of the worst dvd's and gave it a try. I was very impressed, the movie worked with no pauses. I think you can fix 10-15 movies before you have to start replacing parts. You definitely have to do more rotations than the box tells you and must keep it moist, but it will correct your movies and some games as well. Great purchase - I would have spent much more buying replacement movies and games.

As the mother of four children who love their dvds, this product is a must-have. I use it almost daily to make dvds come back to life for my kids after they have been beaten up, scratched, etc. It is easy to use and works very quickly. I have just purchased my first replacement wheel for it so I can keep on using it!

I forget I have this every once in a while until we come across a DVD that skips one too many times, and then we figure we'll give it a try and are amazed each time that it works so well! So what if it takes a few minutes of elbow grease, it's well worth it. I'll be buying a second one tonight for a friend to have.

Works for most CD/DVD's but if you have deep scratches or there is damage to the foil it won't work. Good value for the money, though.

very good product saved three of my xbox 360 games ,I had my doubts but i was amazed that this worked .it wont take off the perfect circle off the 360 disc but it will bring back to a working condition

I was at first skeptical that this product would fix a Xbox 360 disk that was damaged with moderate scratches around the disk, but now I know that this product is not only capable, but excellent in serving its purpose. Although the product is manual, it is not at all difficult to use; it merely requires very minimal strength that most 2 year olds are likely capable of producing.

Is a good product the instructions say let the disk do 2 full rotations try to see if it works like that and if it don't work 1st time try it all over again as many times need it but it works

think your MOST favorite CD is ruined, after following the directions closely? The disk(audio CD) PLAYS like NEW AGAIN !! Amazing !!

Can't go wrong. I have another one that I bought in the 90's & it's still continuing to get the job done! I purchased this bc it was cheaper than buying replcmnt reel(s). Dont be fooled either... All discs can be resurfaced by the same reel. Tip: Don't pay extra for the batt or plug operated ones... Unless you're unable to manually turn,twist or use your hands.

This product fixed perfect circle scratch on two Xbox360 discs. I had to run the discs through the machine 4 or 5 turns instead of one, but after that both discs played and installed with no problem.

This saved 2 Xbox games and a DVD. One of the games had major scratches and took 3 runs through, but it installed just fine. Well worth the price.

My dvds look a bit cleaner, but they play the same after cleaning them, or worse! I am afraid that it is making it worse after I see the cleaning lines are still there after wiping them down. I'm going to take it back for something else and hope that another product fixes the issues it caused.

I bought this to fix a dvd. After reading the instructions I used it. It did clean the disc. I will give it that. Not only did it not fix my problem it made it worse. The instructions said if it does not get fixed the first try do it again. I did it again now the menu does not work. Now all I have is a dvd with a menu. Thankfully I replaced the dvd before using this. This was something I was going to mainly use for maintenance and cleaning. I will NEVER use this product again. I can only imagine the automatic version of this product is just as bad. If your dvd or cd is defective I say get an exchange if you still can or use anything but this product.

Dont waste your money on this piece of junk...it not only doesnt work,but it completly ruined my 60 dollar video game....after the fact i asked around and all i heard was nightmares about this product....you not only will loose the money you pay for this,but also for whatever your trying to repair...
