Completely useless product. Installed in Jeep Wrangler to support portable Blu-Ray player for long trips with kids. Would not even support the weight of small portable Blu-Ray player. Do not waste your time or money.

tried to install this on my Acadia and was very flimsy. Took it back immediately.

Works as intended. We have used it several times, and no problems as of yet. Seems to have a weak construction, but has not broken; we treat it well though. It is overpriced given the durability of the item, but not many alternatives on the market. Overall happy with purchase. Fits our portable DVD player (securely with two straps and other features so player will not fall) so that our two kids can enjoy a movie on long drives. The flat part, on which you mount the DVD player, pivots; so even if the front seats are not even, back-seat viewers can still have well-angled views.

We've been using a DVD case to hold our portable player, sitting between our two front seats. There are already enough cords, but there were too many straps as well. I found this one and LOVE it! It mounts nicely to the seats, at the headrest...easy on and off. Up and outta the way. All the kiddos can see so, there is no arguing over the "best" seat. Slight jiggle over bumpy roads, but nothing significant.

This mount is a good buy. I bought a portable DVD player for my daughter and this mount works great with it. My DVD player is about 10 inches and it fits perfectly in between the seats. I would recommend this for anyone who does not want to mount their portable DVD player to their roof. It is a little wobbly but still does a great job.

I bought this mount because I can use the PDVD player I already had. I have a new Toyota 4 Runner SUV and it fits, even when the front seats AREN'T in the same position! My PDVD player wouldn't fit on the mount with the rechargeable battery attached so I bought a universal plug-in power/voltage adaptor for the car. Which I needed anyway so the movie wouldn't stop from a dead battery. The mount jiggles a little over bumps but not enough to make my 3yr old complain. It doesn't block the rearview mirror as much as the overhead DVD players would've and once we're at the hotel "or whatever" we can take the PDVD player with us and continue the movie inside. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a sun/moon roof in their vehicle, already owns a PDVD player, likes saving money and time, doesn't want to cut into the headliner of their new car or truck, and has a Toddler! : )

I have a SUV-(Dodge Durango 8 passanger), and it fits great between any of the seats, No more kids yelling they cant see, and no more worrie about my 3 year old spilling on it. I did have to re-inforce the velcro, it came apart almost right away. And also suggest using a DVD player that the screen turns around, it seems to sit up better, And the adults in the front have control of the DVD. It is jiggly, but has never came down. And not that bad where the kids have complained. I borrowed mine to my mom who drives a small car and she said she likes it so much, I better buy myself another! The only reason it did not get five stars is because of it's cheap velcro and it's wiggle. /but then again I don't know who they could help that.

This DVD mount seriously changed my life! I spend a lot of time traveling in the car with my two kids and although they don't watch much TV at home, the portable DVD, keeps them well entertained in the car. The kids share the DVD player so trying to put it on the center console or let one kid hold it didn't work AT ALL. This keeps the player at a good height, keeps it far enough from the kids so that they can't touch it and keeps it from falling off of the console EVERY time we turn! I should have invented this :)

I've only used it twice, its a little bulky but for the price and being able to move it I find it great. All I care about is not holding the tv in my legs when Im on long car drives with my little sister so this gets the job done. As I said before, it can rotate so thats even better!

this is just about the only product out there that will hold a portable dvd player between two headrests so that more than one child can see the movie. it doesn't have as much bounce as i've seen some reviewers on multiple sites say it has. i'm anxious to try it on the second row seats to see if it works well for my kids when they move to the third row! our dvd player opens like a laptop, so the strap that secures it covers where the dvd goes. this is a little annoying as i have to unstrap it to change dvds.

This is the second one that we have purchased in about 2 years, but I will continue to buy them. I hate using the bags b/c they always fall. this is much easier to use. We live in Florida, so our summers are VERY hot. So sitting in a car it looses its strength. I wish they made the bars stronger, maybe with metal inside to hold up longer. But overall I like it and will continue to buy this same one until they come out with something better

I bought this product because it looked easy to mount and easily accesible from the front seat. When it arrived I could see that the mounting bars were on a slant, rather than straight across like in the photos. When I mounted it to the car it slanted toward one seat more than the other. I called customer service for the product 3 times. The first time I called the representative was very lovely and told me I could return it directly to the company since we needed the product for a vacation and they would send me a new one. I thought this was very good customer service at the time. I paid the shipping and they sent me one with the exact same problem. When I called customer service again I was told that the mounting bars are repositionable, which they are not. I asked for a refund of the cost of shipping and the representative told me she was not in a position to do that. I asked her who was and she said her manager was and she would have to call me back. The manager called me back and told me they could not refund my money because they hadn't received the returned unit yet and even when they did she could not gaurantee that a refund would be granted. I explained to her that I wish I was told from the beginning that nothing could be done to correct the problem and to just send the item back to the store for a refund. She dismissed me by just responding "Have a nice day." I will never deal with Digital Innovations again.

this is a pretty good product, lightweight, easy to install. downside is that it only lasted a year but for $30 bucks, not too terrible. I would probably purchase again despite the short lifespan.

The item worked okay but blocked my rearview mirror view out the back window so I found it better to just take a bungy cord and mount the portable DVD player to my sliding center console so it wasn't a safety hazard. (I have a 2009 GMC Acadia) With a different vehicle that doesn't hae that feature it might be the best option. I returned the item after the first day seeing how much it obstructed my view. It was very easy to install. Would be better if it sat lower.

we were surprised it fit our minivan (08 odyssey) which looked wide between the front seats. set up was a breeze but due to the width it wiggles at times. storage is also quick and easy. the box that came with it is not the same with the illustration photos, but i guess its the same product.

I purchase my daughter a portable DVD player over a year ago and only used it probably 2 to 3 time due to the hassle of setting up the carrying case with all the straps, which took over a half hour to set each time. I have had this product for just 5 day and I use it all the time. Simply pull the spring load arm from under the base place it around the headrest bar and place the DVD play on the base and you are done. It wobbles a little when you are playing with but other than that it pretty steady. I do wish the arms would completely lock around the headrest pole. I would buy another one for my wife car just cause of the price but it just to easy to setup and take down.
