DINNER AT EIGHT DOESN'T REALLY MAKE THE GRADE???

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As remakes go, this adaptation of the 1933 film classic of Dinner at Eight doesn't match its 1933 original masterpiece, especially the casting. This remake had its moments, especially Lauren Becall and Marsha Mason's delightful performances. I am sure the changes from the 1933 film were necessary, but why makes changes that really didn't work or match the original? Alas!!!...a noble try at best!!!
