Great idea, but I should have waited another year to see if the kinks got worked out. Reception is shaky at best with the 1980's headset, and recording without the signal falling off...impossible. I usually have 2-3 hours of record-time set up and I'm lucky to get half that's uninterrupted by failing signal. You practically have to put it on your roof, turn it on and leave it on to record, and hope that the battery doesn't die in the process. Cannot record at home without a docking station, even if your antennae headset is hanging out your southern upstairs bedroom window. Maybe next year? Maybe not.

Some people dispute the portability of this product but when used correctly, it's amazing. Reception outside without the headphones is poor but we use this product with the car dock and home dock. The ability to store 100 hrs of music while sleeping at night gives you unlimited stored music when at the gym. The wifi works great at my gym giving me access to all channels. The bit rate while on wifi is low but you won't notice the difference on headphones. All-in-all a wonderfull product

This was a very disappointing purchase. The reception is poor at best even with the antenna headphones on, which it came with. I also purchased the car kit and home kit. The home kit works great, but the car kit on the other hand was also a poor purchase. The car kit is very, very very staticey, even with the antenna booster. I would recommend another radio other than this one.

If you are thinking of a Stiletto 10, don't. It is well worth the money difference to get the Stiletto 100. I have both and am very unhappy with the 10. The 100 will let you listen via the internet, in your car, or is portable with the headphones. This 100 will also allow you to record individual songs that play and store them in the Library. The 10 will only let you record in intervals. With the 10 you can not record just the song you like. You can record 10 hours of songs and also download more than 10 hours to the 100. It will also store music as you listen to the channel. The 100 allows you up to 1 hour of replay while you are listening. The only negative about the 100 is that you can not record a song that you have missed. By this, I mean if you rewind the staion you are listening to and find a song you like, too bad. Trust me and pay the difference to get the 100. You will not like the 10.

I got this as a gift a month ago. It works great everywhere Ive taken it to, even out on the boat. I even ended up buying the car adapter and it works great!
