I got this to replace another Dirt Devil that I'd had about five years. It was bagless and I came to really dislike having to empty and clean it so often. I have a dust allergy and COPD, which made it doubly hard. This one works great although it's loud. I've seen some reviews that say it doesn't work well on deep pile carpet. For me, that's no problem as the carpet in this apartment is really cheap. I've seen better in display areas of department stores, ugh! But I have a small, long-haired dog and this is great at picking up dog hair. And when it's full I can take the bag out and empty it!

I will only buy vacuums with a bag and they are hard to find. This one has great suction and on board tools. Works fine. I gave 4 stars because it's just cheaply made. The price is good for the product though.

This dirt devil is very light weight and does an excellent job on bare floors and carpet.

It's a very strong vuccum, bought lots of bagless vuccums before but they didn't last long so now on I would perfer bagged vuccums...

I bought this on sale and it was a great purchase!

Good value for bagged vacuum but the bag cover is defective . It come off while vacuuming. I returned fir refund.

I Purchased this dirt devil for my office which has a hard floor surface and low pile commercial grade carpeting. I needed a bagged upright with a few attachments that wasn't too expensive. At this price point I wasn't expecting much power but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of suction this vacuum has. It did a good job of grabbing dust along baseboards and it's very light weight and compact- perfect for smaller spaces. The hand held turbo tool is not motorized, therefore, it's not great at picking up pet hair ( I bring my dog to work) but does get the dust off fabric chairs. The Vacuum itself did a good job of picking pet hair off the carpet. There was a slight smell of rubber when I was using it so I may have to raise base up to compensate for the strong suction so as not to overheat the belt. This also may have been that new electronic smell. Time will tell. Overall, I would recommend this vacuum.

I bought this vac from Walmart in July by October it stoped working. We tried to get dirt devil to repair or replace it the would do neither .they said to bring it back to Walmart who told us to call the manufatuer . We have carpet through out the house so we could not wait and had to buy another vacume.I will never buy dirt devil again! And suggest you don't either. Best buy is a good place to buy another brand,
