Years ago I had one of these for years and it barely sucked up but it lasted for years. Fast forward to now and I'm very pleasantly surprised at the suction power of this vac. The battery power is longer lasting than I thought based on reviews. I have had it a while now and it is still running on its initial charge. My only negative is I have yet to figure out how to open and clean it. Other than that I'm happy with it. I would not use it to vacuum a car, however.

Small enough to get into tight places but robust enough to handle cleaning my larger boat or car.

I've had Dirt Devil before and love the way they perform. I can say the two I've purchased have been dependable.

Since I drive my car as a taxi, I have a need to constantly keep my front and rear floorboards clean. The job is easily accomplishd with Dirt Devil Gator handvac. It has a built-in crevice tool so I can clean the hard to reach areas. It also ensures I'll never lose the tool. I love the bagless dust compartment for easy cleanup. But what I really bought this for is the cordless capability. I just charge it and take it with me to the car.

This little vac has a lot of power! It is small and does the job. I have one on each floor to pick up the "little things." It is easy to use and to dump/clean.

I have used this a lot in my car to clean up dry messes.It works great also over sofa & couches.The charging doesn't last too long and dirt capacity is really small,suitable to its size,so can't complain.

I use this product to clean my car and sofa & Bed. It works very well. The suction is excellent, but the battery life is small, per use could be a little longer. It lasts about 10 to 15 minutes then it's done.

I've used for one week so far. Positives: Very powerful suction--strongest of any hand vac I've ever had. Good ergonomic feel and high quality of manufacture. Holds a charge well (so far). Built-in crevice tool is clever and useful. Negatives: heavier than any hand vac I've ever used (not a problem so far). Dirt cup has a lot of wasted space--capacity might be a little less than it appears. Biggest disappointment (and surprise) is the cloth filter, which requires periodic replacement, and immediate hand cleaning after each use. All in all, I think I'll get my money's worth from this vac. If it weren't for the cloth filter, I'd give it 5 stars.

Great little vacuum for the price. Good suction power , compact design and pick up heavy items others can't. The reason for 4 stars is that it lasts less than 10 minutes after charging.

Some appliances one just cannot do without. This is probably my third "dust buster". It is lightweight, has excellent suction, and the crevice tool is very helpful. Charges quickly and stays charged for my use. I like it very much and I am happy with my purchase.

Great for a quick clean and easy to use and store. Wider suction area for larger coverage than others.

Small size but powerful enough for everyday jobs. I use this around my paper shredder to pick up shredding that gest away when emptying it and in the bathroom to pick up hair from 3 females. It is not too heavy and is small enough to tuck into a corner for storage. Note that this is not wall mountable.

My wife loves it. Compact and yet powerful. My 15 month daughter spreads the food all over in kitchen and dining area while eating and thanks to this handy vacuum that my wife cleans it immediately and very quickly. Only thing I would have given it 5 stars if it is having a more battery life. Best value for money!!

I bought this with a 20% off coupon so I'd say that for the price I paid, the product is fairly decent. I bought it for vacuuming my car and it gets the job done. It's got decent suction given that it's a small cordless vacuum. The waste compartment is just enough for doing small jobs. However if the waste compartment is filled and isn't emptied then the suction power goes down, but that's expected.

I purchased the Dirt Devil hand vacuum mainly to use for my car. I like keeping my car clean, and I usually use my house vacuum cleaner to pick up crumbs or dirt. The Dirt Devil hand vacuum really helped me to clean my car faster, and I am able to get into small areas of the car that I normally could not reach. The Dirt Devil hand vacuum is lightweight, so I do not have to strain to carry it, and it is small enough to fit in the trunk of the car. I am glad that I purchased the Dirt Devil hand vacuum.
