We thought it would be perfect for him to use to clean up under their chairs after meals without having to get our full sized vacuum out every time. It works okay right after it is charged, but it does not have great suction even then and plan on charging it after 2 or 3 uses.

Posted .Hi alphine18! We want to help. If you are experiencing suction issues, please try this: Unplug the charger from the wall for 10 minutes, and run the unit's battery down completely. Once this has been done, charge the unit for at least 24 hours. This should restore the battery to its full run time. If this doesn't improve suction power, it may be that the filter is dirty, or may need to be replaced. We recommend replacing the filters every 6-12 months, depending on usage. Posted .Hi Shack25! Your Gator Bagless Cordless Hand Vac should run between 8-10 minutes on a full 24 hour charge. If you’ve noticed a loss in run time it may be necessary to reset the charger. Please give the following steps a try: 1.) Unplug the charger from the wall for 2 minutes. 2.) Run the unit down until it completely dies. 3.) Charge for a complete 24 hours. Once completed the unit should run for the allotted time. For optimum suction performance we recommend emptying the dirt cup and cleaning the filter after each use.
