      Hi Sandy! If you are experiencing a low run time, please try this: Unplug the charger from the wall for 10 minutes, and run the unit's battery down completely.       Hi Lilkisspie! Your Gator Hand Vac should run longer than 3 minutes. We want to help. It sounds like a charger reset would help to resolve this issue. Please give the following steps a try: 1.) Unplug the charger from the wall for 2 minutes. 2.) Run the unit completely down until it dies. 3.) Re-charge unit for a complete 24 hours. Once completed the unit should run between 8-10 minutes.     Can't pickup all dirt as the motor power is low. Buy it of you are not expecting lot of dirt at home to clean.

For optimum performance we recommend emptying the dirt cup and cleaning the filter after each use to help keep a clear pathway for airflow to the motor.
