I needed a vacuum specifically to handle the stairs so I wouldn't have to lug my normal heavy-duty vacuum up and down or deal with the attachments. I don't have any pets so I didn't need a vacuum geared towards that. I do have 3 kids and our stairs is a heavy traffic area so I needed something with power but was also lightweight. This Dirt Devil fit the bill perfectly. It is super lightweight and a breeze to use on the stairs. Now I can clean once or twice a week without being a huge hassle.

The Dirt Devil was purchased to use where my large vacumn would not go. This vacumn is portable and powerful. This new bagless model is an improvement over the older bag version.

When I needed to use the Dirt Devil hand vac, the wall socket was not that close to the area that needed cleaning. But the cord was nice and long. The suction was really strong. The job was done pronto.

I had a previous model of this same vacuum which finally died after many years. This new model does seem to have better suction and dirt collection is very easy to empty. You will need to remove the filter, easy with just a half twist, to knock loose all the fine dirt/dust particles. Works great for cleaning the stairs and couch.

the Dirt devil has a very good suction and proves to be excellent for cleaning staircase. The bonus is the bagless benefit, and it can be cleaned fast and easy. The price is very good for such a excellent product.

I was looking for a lightweight, small vacuum to use on the stairs and in the car. Very happy with this purchase. Great for small pick ups in the house as well.

The small vacuum cleaner is perfect for cleaning the stairs. it is light and powerful. If the cord was a little longer it would be perfect.

I bought this for the stairs when it was the Best Buy Deal of the Day. Works super well! No more lugging the huge living room vacuum up and down the steps. This is super lightweight and efficient. My carpeted stairs have never looked better than ever. I have one dog and two cats, so vacuuming up all of their fur is super important to me.

This is a great little vac. Does a great job cleaning up any little mess you have on carpet, furniture and even hard flooring. Very convenient length of cord to get many places without having to switch outlets.

This small handheld vacuum quite strong for suction on carpet. I ramdomly use it for small densed dirty spot I vacuumed it and works perfectly. This one moderately use for not using big original carpet vacuum.

Needed something easy and light for stairs, works great. Like the idea of corded and not worrying about charging batteries or losing power.
