The team quickly uninstalled the broken dishwasher.

Overall an ok task to pull the dishwasher out from its place and haul away

This is for the uninstall/haul away service. The uninstall service is outsourced to a third-party. One of the crew (who did the actual uninstall) was generally very rude. He couldn't find the shut off valve to the dishwasher under the sink so he immediately started blaming the plumber and judging the plumber as incompetent. I had to point out that there are not one, but two shut off valves -- one for the dishwasher and one main for the hot water pipe. Then, when he started removing the hose from under the sink, I asked him to remove it from the dishwasher end instead so I could use it. Immediately, snapped back at me asking "how many dishwashers have you installed? I do this everyday". Well, for someone who installs dishwashers everyday should know that the hose is paid for separately and does not come free with the dishwasher. They should not take the hose with them, nor fiddle with the plumbing. He begrudgingly agreed to remove it from the dishwasher end. He did put a cap on the other end of the hose (which I appreciated). The electrical cord is also paid for separately, and does not need to go with the old dishwasher. The electrical connection is at the front of the dishwasher and that's where the cord should be cut/removed. Instead, he cut the cord at the plug. When I asked him why he didn't cut it at the dishwasher end he snapped back saying "the cord is attached to the dishwasher, you can't remove it". Again, someone who installs dishwashers everyday should know that the electrical cord is paid for separately and does not come with the dishwasher. They should not damage it simply to make their job easier. I was planning to use it, but he took the wire and the cut end with him. I had to buy a new one. There is also a dishwasher elbow that is paid for separately which is used to connect the hose to the dishwasher inlet. He didn't bother to remove that either (slipped my mind, but a dishwasher installer should be aware of it). I had to buy a new one. Overall, it seemed that because I didn't sign up for the install service, he deliberately made it difficult for me to do the install myself. Whenever I pointed something out that I needed, he seemed rude and seemingly assumed that I (the customer) doesn't know anything about dishwashers or is incapable of doing it myself. I finally did the install myself, and it was quite easy. I would not recommend BestBuy's appliance removal and haul away service based on my experience.

The team that came out to my house were very professional. They were careful not to make a mess and tidy after completing their work.

We had an issue with the original install. The store really, really did a great job of smoothing everything out, getting me a new piece of equipment and the installation went brilliantly.

The first dishwasher Bosch that got returned, we had a three person crew come to unstill it. They were all professional, and very fast and clean. Not sure why they sent three people to uninstall, when they sent two to install it the first time.??

Where do I begin. At the beginning. In late August 2022, our Bosch dishwasher displayed the dreaded ‘Water Tap’ error message. I tried to clear it using online videos and information, but nothing worked. So, I called Best Buy tech service ‘geek squad’ and requested a service call. Eugene came to our house at the appointed time, pulled out the dishwasher, and examined the port side of the washer and detected water in the pan. He requested some dry towels and linens to absorb the leakage. Then he examined the starboard side and immediately proclaimed ‘this washer is unrepairable’. No explanation except that the washer was unrepairable and a new replaceable was needed. He assured me that he would call the right people and order a replacement. Eugene pushed the washer back into its hole but did not disconnect power. Wrong procedure. Sometime about 2 days later, the washer started up on its own. So, all I could do was crawl under the garbage bin and reach up and pull out to the power plug to disconnect. The washer evidently had pumped more water into the tray but since I could not see it, the water collected in the pan. Warning – if an appliance is declared ‘unrepairable’ disconnect power. After three days, I called the Best Buy service line and asked if they had received a work order to replace it. They had not. I needed some sort of R code or V code which only Best Buy could provide. I could not get that secret code over the phone. I had to drive over to the Bald Hill Road Best Buy on August 22 and requested the secret code. They had no record of a replacement order. After sorting out the correct phone number from which I placed the service call, we got authorization. What a waste of valuable human time and energy. Julie and I looked around and selected a Samsung Bespoke linear washer with auto release. A good feature to reduce power use and heating. Since we had taken out the extended warranty, we received over a $1,000 credit on a new unit. Never buy an appliance without buying the extended warranty. We selected that model as a replacement for the Bosch. Both Bosch dishwashers broke after 2 years. We were told that, Best Yet Installation would install the new Samsung washer. On 7 September, Mike D. and his assistant Natch came out to remove the broken Bosch and replace it with a new Samsung. Unfortunately, neither Mike nor Natch bothered to inspect the broken Bosch for water in the pan. Then they carried the unit out the door dripping water throughout the house. When they pulled it out, unknown to me at the time, water poured out and through the floor down into the finished basement and destroyed dropped ceiling tiles. I found the destroyed ceiling after Mike and Natch left with the damaged dishwasher. Fortunately, I had extras and replaced the damage ones which took about an hour of custom cutting. When Mike and Hatch brought the replacement Samsung, Natch noticed that a critical water fitting was broken. If he hadn’t noticed the broken fitting, the house would have flooded. The new unit was either shipped with a broken fitting or was broken during transport. Warning – Inspect critical fitting when the unit leaves the factory and before it is installed. I think the initial logistic transportation company was ATO or similar. Fortunately, Mike D is a licensed plumber. On 17 September, a different logistic transportation company, PTG, delivered another replacement Samsung dishwasher. These guys were all business. No chit chats. But since they are not licensed as plumbers, they could only deliver the replacement dishwasher inside the house.

Do to apparent improper installation of a new diswasher, a replacement dishwasher was required to be installed with the previous one uninstalled.

The guy who uninstalled our old dishwasher was professional and quick! He did a great job of communicating what he was doing and went right to work on it and was done in a matter of minutes! He also had to maneuver it out of our entry way and did so with ease. I'd request tis tech again if we had his name.

We had to have two dishwashers uninstalled, because our first dishwasher came damaged. Both times the technicians were professional and did a great job. They used a floor-saver mat of ours at our request, so there was no damage to our marmoleum flooring. They also hauled away the uninstalled dishwashers.

The installation of the item was fine. I don’t have any problem with that

Technicians showed up on time to remove a damaged dishwasher.

They came and uninstall it becutse it was not working properly but they did came again and give a new one and they replace it

They were great...they removed the old dishwasher and installed the new Bosh dishwasher. They were quick, clean and friendly.

Nice dishwasher however it was leaking. Not able to get lost time back.
