This represents a nice challenge for pre-teens, intricate enough to concentrate their attention, and having anticipation value. It's a good project for rainy days on vacation. Pieces fit together nicely, but instructions could be clearer.

This came in a sturdy attractive box, and the puzzle is also sturdy when assembled. It's a bit more fun and challenging than a regular puzzle and makes a nice gift.
