I bought this game when it was 30 dollars on Black Friday. I had watched videos of it online and said that looks fun, but when I saw it that night i couldn't resist. My kids love it, and whenever we have family members over for dinner we always end up playing. It is a Kinect game, but does not require your whole body to be moving, just your arms, so even people that aren't as active as others can stil have a great time playing this. It is full of great music, from classical, contemporary, hip hop, alternative, and 80's rock! Highly Recommended game!

I didn't have a whole lot of interest in this game when I first heard about it, but a reduced price got me curious. The tutorial that they want you to do early in the game is pretty slow/tedious but it really helps you enjoy the gameplay after that. The motions they ask you to do feel somewhat unique for gesture based games and they do seem to mimic Mickey Mouse in Fantasia pretty well. The music in the game is a nice mix of classical music and modern day hits which can all be altered slightly with elements in the game. I won't be playing this forever, but for the low price point that I get it for it was well worth a few nights of entertainment.

Nice but maybe not for 3 year old

I have a PS3, an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One. I bought this for the latter of those 3 consoles, with the intent of keeping my 3 year old entertained. It is very interesting, Too difficult for him, but he had a blast watching me follow movements on the screen which ended up with me looking like Mickey Mouse in Fantasia. The kinect of this new Xbox is better than the old one, and since Sony does not do much with their analogous Move camera, this is the only way to play games like this. Although I admit to having little experience with the Wii U.

Picked this up as a deal of the day item, and glad I did. Kids have fun playing it and even get a little off the couch exercise. Play it for 20-30 minutes and you start to feel it in your arms. Kind of repetative at times and the game menu could stand to be more user friendly so switching between profiles is a little smoother. That is why I gave it 4 stars. Play the free downloadable demo before you buy and decide for yourself, that's what we did and enjoy it.

All the fun of Guitar Hero without the junk plastic guitar. This is the first time I've ever used a Kinect and LIKED it. Same for my kids. As a drummer, these types of games usually drive me nuts because they're usually not quite musically accurate until you get to the most difficult of songs on the most difficult of settings. This one is different. This game has a lot of potential and shows that there is potential for the Kinect to be a real alternative to the controller rather than just a gimmick. Clearly Harmonix put a lot of thought into this and went above and beyond to make the gameplay an exciting experience. I do wish the DLCs were a bit more affordable but it is what it is. Great game for kids or adults.

I was looking for something a little different for the kids and this one didn't disappoint. The music collection ranges from classic to modern rock and pop. You have to use different hand motions in order to pass the different levels. The game is fun and the premise of being the new sorcerer's apprentice is innovative. The only downside is that once the kids played through the game once, they lost interest.

I liked this game as a family game. The controls are generally intuitive, though sometimes it was hard to time them just right to get the points/recognition that you did the right thing. Also, with all the hand waving and standing, it's a better workout than just sitting and moving your thumbs around! I would recommend this to families looking for family-friendly games for game night!

My family and I played the demo before buying this game and we all loved it. Had similarities to Guitar Hero/Rock Band type game but mixed with Dance Central/Just Dance all with a twist making it unique. I like that it gets the kids up and active and it had songs that all of us liked. Worth a buy if you like musical type games.

I originally got this because it was on sale for $7.99. After starting it up I was hooked for a little while. It's pretty fun and does a nice job using the Kinect. It's not as much movement as Just Dance, but it can be a little bit of a workout

My kids really enjoyed it. The music & graphics are really awesome. This is especially good for Disney lovers, but any gamer can appreciate is as well. It's actually a really good break from all the shoot'em up games.

Not the normal music or dance game but I have enjoyed it and it is still a bit of a work out. Not sure how good it is for kids, the initial learning is long, but they set the goals low so I think kids will have fun.

Fantasia makes great use of Kinect. There's a bit of a learning curve to getting the gestures correct, but the music is fantastic and the visuals are beautiful.

This game has been the most fun I've had playing a console in years! Its a mix between old school Disney orchestral music with oldies and new age stuff and its just so much fun to play. If you really get into it, its a decent workout, too! Throw on some wrist weights and you'll break a sweat. Great game. A lot of fun to play!

Bought this on sale for my kids since they love dance games that utilize the Kinect feature, but I've actually ended up playing it more than them as it's a fun, simple yet engaging game that keeps you moving.

Download the demo on Xbox Live for free. It's got some great songs, and you can always download more recent hits on Xbox Live. You will definitely get your upper body workout on playing this game. It's cool though. A psychedelic interactive music game for the Kinect. If you can get this game for a decent price, give a try.

Overall the game was fun. It is a good use of the kinect. Also it gets you off of the couch. After you learn how to play the game I found myself playing around trying to look more like a conductor, and not just hitting the notes correctly. That part is fun but in what would be called the campaign some of the songs have cursing in the lyrics. Not somethings I want to listen to, or my children hear.
