As a fan of Captain America, I feel like he was captured very well in the way this character is portrayed in Disney INFINITY. He combines acrobatics (dodges, super high jumps, flipping attacks) with punches and shield slams, as well as his patented shield-throwing abilities. You can upgrade him like all characters, in his case making him tougher, giving him stronger attacks, or making his shield-throwing more versatile (such as spinning his shield around him to strike all enemies or bouncing it off multiple enemies in a single throw). All of his attacks are very thematic and nothing seems to stray from the classic Captain America that any fan would be familiar with. The animation and his voice acting are also done very well. Don't expect him to sound like Chris Evans from the live-action films, but he also doesn't sound cheesy and overly-dramatic like he does in many animated portrayals. Instead, he sounds both heroic and natural. As to the figure itself, it is well-sculpted and painted. If a collector was to buy it just to put on a shelf and admire it's not bad at all. If you are a fan of Cap as I am, and have the new version of the game (or are interested in purchasing it) I can't recommend this strongly enough. He is very fun to play.

No one in my house. Excellent addition to the infinity 2.0 collection. Hours of additional gameplay from this character. My kids are hooked. Looks like Disney is going to get more of my cash.

It's Captain America. The true blue American Avenger. Just plain awesome to play as him. His skill set is fun and very enjoyable. He can also be used in the avengers play set and toy box. So you have a lot of game to play with him

Background info: My wife and I love playing Disney Infinity. I grew up as a gamer but my wife did not. Disney Infinity is our gateway game to help her enter into the gaming world. The Captain America figure is a great supplementary figure to add to the collection. He's fast and strong, acrobatic and fun. My wife loved using him after completely leveling up Iron Man and Black Widow. Captain America has similar speed and acrobatics as Black Widow, but has greater strength and combat abilities. Compared with Iron Man, his special ability is fantastic in that it is an area attack, destroying all enemies around him. (Iron Man's attach is directional and requires greater accuracy and timing in hitting the target. Captain America's special ability is much easier to use.). His one drawback is his inability to fly. However, for the most part, this can be mitigated when flying vehicles are available. The figure itself is beautifully made and is on display in our home. As a game character, I rank enjoyability/playability in the following order: 1) Hulk (fully powered Hulk is nearly indestructible) 2) Thor (Flying and combat ability is outstanding.) 3) Iron Man (Flying and special attacks are super fun) 4) Captain America I recommend this figure as a supplementary character to any Disney Infinity Collection.

Of all the characters you can play for the main Avengers game in Disney Infinity, Captain America is the most fun and has some of the best moves. Highly recommended

"When Captain America throws his mighty shield" Very fun character to play, my nephew loved this Christmas gift! You can throw the shield in the game too.

Playing as Captain America on Inifnity 2.0 is much fun. Anytime you get to throw Cap's shield its so much fun. Actual figure is pretty cool as well.

Captain America is a great reminder of standing up for right, virtue, and freedom regardless of the cost. He is a true tribute to the era when brave men and women stood against true evil as it threatened to engulf the world. What better character to use as a teaching opportunity with your kids? Now, I'm waiting for Agent Carter! As far as the figure goes, it is well crafted, skillfully painted, and the interaction on the console is outstanding. Highly recommended.

Love Avengers, love Captain America and love Disney Infinity! I got the Capt. America piece mainly as a collector's item, but love playing with it in the game. Can throw his shield and block shots with it too. Nice piece!

Captain America is a nicely detailed figure and he is fun to play as in the game.

In the wide variety of Marvel characters available in the Disney Infinity Collection, Captain America stands bright with his sense of patriotism and unique fighting skills. The shield works as a boomerang type projectile that even allows multiple enemy targeting. Definitely a must own if you are interesting in collecting the Infinity but don't know where to start.

My boys love the Captain America DI 2.0 figures. We will buy more!

This character is great and love playing it with the play set.

My kids love these figures. All of them. The traditional Disney ones as well as the superheroes. Like amiibo figures, my kids enjoy playing with them as toys just as much as a video game, although we try to teach them to be very careful with them because while the quality is good, these things will break if treated like a normal toy.
