This has quickly become a favorite in our household. Both my wife and I love playing it with our kids—it’s the perfect mix of strategy, fun, and Disney magic! The cards are beautifully designed, and the gameplay is engaging yet easy enough for our little ones to pick up. Really affordable purchase and a good investment for getting started with Lorcana. It breaks down the game for you step by step, and teaches you in waves so that it doesn’t overwhelm you. Cute cards! My partner and I got really into it really fast, I would recommend this product to anyone who is thinking about learning to play Lorcana. This is not a product for rare card collectors as it does not really have rare or foils.

Cheaper than buying two starter decks, and has the option to play the game that's easy for beginners. Mechanics are separated and only "unlocked" after completing a set of goals that helps the player understand each mechanic before moving onto the next. I mostly got this to talk my little sister into playing with me since I wanted to start playing, too. Despite my sister not being a card game person, the breakdown of each mechanic made it easier for her to enjoy the game. However, only get this for casual purposes! I later found out through a friend that the cards aren't legal for competitive anymore which is a shame, but I don't mind. I got the value I needed out of it which was for my sister and I to learn the game. If you're already accustomed to card games, you might not find the same value. If you aren't and you find card games to be somewhat difficult, this is a great way to learn.

I bought this to start playing. As a beginner, the rules felt simplified. I don’t really see myself playing so often as it’s only me, but this was a great way to learn and start a collection

This game got me and my girlfriend into Lorcana. It has some decent cards. I personally think that one deck is much more powerful though at least when it comes to beginners. If you're the more advanced player in general, take the red/blue deck as it requires more finesse. The Yellow/Purple deck is easier and more powerful in my opinion. Technically probably not a great "value" if you look at the value of individual cards, but for $25 (usually less on sale), it's a nice start.

I recently started getting into collecting and learning about Lorcana. This box was great as a beginner. It allows you to learn step by step how to play and build your own deck slowly. One thing it does leave out are locations.Overall, I have no regrets with this purchase.

A really great way to start getting into Lorcana! My husband loves it and while I’m a slow learner, the board and tokens have really helped me in figuring out how it all works. Looking forward to many more game nights to come!
