This unit functions very similar to a crane, with a slight price increase likely due to the licensing and incredible design. It legitimately looks like a Vader helmet and could easily be displayed on an entertainment center when not in use. Of course, it also looks awesome in the open while running. The internal tank is a bit smaller than competitors of the same class, however I like that it sits flat when filling (the crabs we have used all have a strange shape that requires holding the tank while filling; we will with purified water and this can be a pain in those units. This unit, as a result, is very easy to fill. The but isn't completely silent, although I wouldn't call it distracting. In a completely silent room one notices a very faint hum. This is likely just the fan, and sounds very much like a very quit computer fan. I point this out because our cranes are absolutely silent. If this was my first unit of just assume it's par for the course because it really isn't distracting oh loud to begin with. The On/off knob is on the back, which is nice from an aesthetic viewpoint, but less nice in terms of functionality. Our unit is relatively close to a wall and it would be easier to turn it on from the front. That said, it's really nice that there are no visible knobs in the front. A small sacrifice for the amazing looks. We bought the extended warranty but if it ever breaks I expect I'll keep it as a display piece. It really is THAT cool looking. I'm considering picking up the R2 unit as well for another room.

Quiet. No filter to replace. Looks amazing. Matte black instead of the high gloss finish, assuming moisture would show too much. Many settings.

I love it it's definitely an attention getter and the adjustable feature works really well I just wish it would hold a little more water but it definitely gets me through the night and then some it's an awesome gadget and easy to set up and use

This was a christmas gift for my son and he loves it. It's easy to use and works fine, plus it looks really cool.

I love this humidifier. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so I absolutely needed Vader. We use this in a decent sized room that's approximately 300 square feet, and it does the trick! Great for cold, dry weather.

He humidifies and does it pretty well. I wish it would project more over the bed rather than straigh up. Last almost to the end of the night

I was not sure if it was a good purchase at first, but as soon as I opened the box I was impressed. it is life size and looks great. Give the house a clean Darkside look. I am not sure if a humidifier is actually needed, but this one does work, if you turn it up to the highest setting it will leave water puddles on the foor. SO IT WORKS

What a fun humidifier. It looks great on display and is functional. Seems to work great so far. The helmet top comes off and could fit on a person, it's life-size, but of course, we'd never put it on our heads... (I think we may have been fighting over who got to be Vader, and wear it first lol)

Looks great. Would be better if the vapor came out of his mask.

It worked fine on the first day but we soon noticed water beginning to pool at its base when running for several hours.

This left a huge puddle every time I left it on for 30 min or more. Not worth it for the clean up after.

Works great bought it for my son. Wish Water tank could hold more water. Still cool cause it's Vader

It is not made cheaply and does a wonderful job in my room. From the moment I unboxed Darth Vader I was impressed. The force is strong with this model.

A good humidifier and goes great with our decor.. the boys are thrilled to have this addition to their Star Wars room

It looks really neat, but the one I purchased was broken and made a puddle of water in the floor. Cool design, but bad functionality.

Never had a Humidifier must say it helps when i sleep at night. And its an a iconic character Darth Vader who would not want one

Great Product, bought it for a Christmas gift for someone who needed a small humidifier in their bedroom, plus a Star Wars fan to boot!

Im a fan some times it may leak a bit but thats from over filling.
