If you’re looking for a nature video that’s good for younger audiences this is a good choice. It’s nice to have Blu-ray and DVD, and they don’t show a lot of eating other animals like you get with Planet Earth movies.

This first Disney Nature film was the start of many great ones.

This was disneynature's first and most inspiring movie. Storyline well developed,amazing photography and great narration by James Earl Jones. As well it brings to our attention the severe impact of our activities in the life of God's masterpiece creation.

another great nature film by disney. the landscapes were amazing. must watch on blu-ray. like all disney nature films they show the chase but not the kill. its still a great film though. gotta love james earl jones narrating also!

great picture in blue ray. We enjoyed every moment . Watching the movie makes you feel and understand every moment as it was intended to. This Movie Is a must see and Best Buy made it easy in its purchase.

A very clear picture of classic movie. This movie is hard to find. The science has not gone out of date.

This movie shows struggles that animals face to survive. The movies is filmed beautifully covering Arctic to Antarctica and James Earl Jones provides a wonderful voice to narrate this film.

This film has some of the best cinematography the I have ever seen and the Blu-Ray 1080 full high definition just brings out the true experience. It also supports a wide range of audio, digital surround setups as well. This movie is just awesome.

Kudos to Disney for taking this 12-hr series and cutting it down to 99 minutes. It still has the breathtaking shots and looks awesome in 1080p. HOWEVER, the product description is very misleading; there are still several death scenes that are inappropriate for small children. My 4-yr daughter got very upset on several occasions therefore I think the G rating is inappropriate. I have not watched the DVD Extras yet so I just gave it a 4-star rating.

My family loves documentaries, especially about nature. My kids ask for these types of movies by name. We previously purchased the BBC's Planet Earth and Blue Planet series which we love. Some footage is reused here, but there is enough new stuff to make it worth while.

This is why Blu-ray was invented. Awe inspiring! Just BEAUTIFUL!
