    I stupidly thought it was a Jim Carrey movie.And it was,but it was animation.They did a great job sticking to the storyline.All the characters really look true to life.

    Ok, so I avoided yet another Disney "A Christmas Carol" with comedian Jim Carrey as the role of Scrooge when it came out. I am not a giant fan of this style of animation either. However, I purchased the movie on the recommendation of a friend and was blown away! Aside from the animation, this version is the closest to the actual novel that I have seen. I actually opened up a copy of the book and found that the dialog was 80% accurate or better. The animation is really good and you can easily see the actor's personality through the animation. The effects were marvelous and seemed to capture the intent of Dickens' descriptions. Wow! A new favorite.
