Oh man the 4k version of this movie is nuts! The aliens look so real and the story makes you feel immersed in the movie! A definite must have!

I was really happy this movie was released in 4K and I have to say it looks and sounds great! This 4K transfer is a most definite upgrade to the Blu-ray.

I have owned this movie for a long time on DVD. So when it hit 4k I had to get it. Amazing movie. If you like Sci Fi you will not be disappointed.

Best Buy doesn’t carry many steelbooks in store so I was happy to see this one was among them. The art is great and I liked the features.

I've seen this movie a bunch of times and decided it was time to buy the blu-ray. As usual with blu-rays, nice crisp picture. The movie itself has lots of action at a steady but not overwhelming pace. A good flick to pick up if you like alien or action movies. I didn't watch the extras at all so I couldn't rate it high or low.

4K Blu-ray is truly amazing. Love this film, and can’t recommend it enough. Very nice. Great. Very cool. Awesome. Is this 50 characters?

Loved this Movie! I had never seen a SciFi Movie like this one before. I saw it in the Theatre and then bought it on Blu-Ray the day it was released. I recommend using a Surround Sound System to get the full Effect.

I love viral marketing and no movie has done it better since District 9. The fact that they worked it into the steelbook is amazing!

Overall, a good, well-paced plot line and an interesting premise (aliens treated like "illegal immigrants" occupying a miserable refugee camp).

One of my all time favorite movies is now in 4K. District 9 looks and sounds incredible in 4K. One of the best looking UHD Disc out there.

Movie is awesome, disappointed that the digital copy code had expired by the time I purchased the movie, but that's a different issue and not best buy's fault. Features and picture quality are good for an older blu-ray disc.

One of the few titles that deserve the 4k treatment. And you know Sony is one of the best in the business when it comes to catalog transfers.

This movie sucks me in every time I watch it. Hard to believe Sharlto was a first-timer. The PQ and Audio are great on this 4K upgrade.

If you are a fan of sci-fi movies that have reason and meaning, District 9 is your answer. The plot and characters are amazing, and the director is simply awesome in making this movie!!!

This is one of my favorite sci-fi films of all time. The 4K steelbook is excellent, I love the design and the transfer is incredible.

A must watch for sci fi fans. This film has totally original approach to the aliens on earth stoyline. Great action scenes, top notch acting and special effects that are excellent without overwhelming the movie.
