A must watch for sci fi fans. This film has totally original approach to the aliens on earth stoyline. Great action scenes, top notch acting and special effects that are excellent without overwhelming the movie.

I have the Bloomcamp 3 movie collection in Blu-ray, which are great. But this version of District 9 in a sweet 4k Steelbook version.

I rarely give anything a five star rating, but District 9 comes close. It is fun, it is beautiful in its ugliness, and it is disturbing in its realistic feel. Having already owned and worn out the DVD of this movie I had to have the Blu-Ray. The Steel-Book casing is just plain cool.

As in Elysium this science fiction classic is in the same universe and adequately describes machine and humanity .

Every time I watch this move I get sucked in. The case is very nice, especially if you like the movie as much as I do.

Best buy needs to do a better job packaging their products, mine came a little damage but regardless...its an amazing movie and got even more amazing. Much so that this is my third time buying this.

This movie tackles the issue of apartheid in a new way. Most viewers May not see the parallels, it is done that well. The story is engaging with enough action to keep you in the edge of your seat.

This is a great film from a great team (film maker and special effect gurus at WETA). This movie is raw, topical, and filled with plenty of action in a well thought out science fiction story. Top notch!
