One of the best films you've never heard of!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great movie, not well-enough known in the U.S. (it's in French, with subtitles). Good thriller plot intertwined with beautiful human stories: the relation that develops between an opera diva and the conflicted fan Jules who secretly records her; the surreal lifestyle of the mysterious new friends who come into Jules' life. If you're old enough for the names of any opera singers of the '60s, '70s, or '80s to ring a bell, Wilhelmenia Fernandez's breathtakingly beautiful voice will leave you wondering why you've never heard of her. Fantastic score (not just the singing), award-winning cinematography.
