I loved the first DJ Hero. I never thought pretending to spin some of the greatest old school hiphop tracks with DJ Hero's turntable would work so well. I like the DJ Hero gameplay better than Guitar Hero / Rock Band. DJ Hero 2 works on DJ Hero 1 turntables and adds a few improvements such as scratch freestyle and better use of samples to mix in. The only slight negative for me was the song list. It replaces the old school stuff and famous dj mixes with newer artists like Drake and Soulja Boy. Taste in music is a subjective thing though. If you like the songs, buy the game and have some fun.

Cool, new difficult features. Has a karaoke mode but I can't use it because of feedback issues.

Single player is enjoyable as the track list is pretty good. But party mode is where this game really shines.

I just bought this so I could get my wife to play. We have the tables and she enjoys the game.

I have little to say about DJ Hero 2 game play but the price of the game. Apparently one would have thought that it is cheap to buy the game during thanks giving for $4.99 (almost $8 if included shipping and tax). The price doesn't hit the bottom yet as it is now $3.99.

This is the sequel to the first DJ Hero. I will say the music list was updated and different music was added. Hopefully there is some free content for additional songs that are current and new.

this game is fun, and has some good music. I grew tired of it kind of fast, but its fun once in a while.

Some great mixes and some awful mixes. But at $3.00 and some change its a must buy.

Bought this new for under $3! Couldn't pass it up as I still have my Renegade Edition from DJ Hero!

Teenage grandchildren enjoy gaming and music: this combines both, plus I purchased it at a great clearance price.

when i played number one i knew there was going to be a number 2 and when i saw the release day, i said to myself im going to the midnight release. i went to the midnight release at Best Buy In Syracuse(the mall) I was the first and only person there to get dj hero 2.(everyone else was for fall out) i was happy and enjoyed the free case that came with it.. best midnight wait ever!!! GO BUY THE GAME ITS AWSOME!!!!!

I'm a real DJ. I love the DJ Hero #1; however, DJ Hero 2 mixes are garbage compared to the first one. I've noticed that the game play has changed dramatically for the good. But I feel the ton of commercialize rap artist has diluted the entire project. Most of the play-lists were created by some guy named FSG. He does a pretty good job but it really lacks the diversity of DJ mixes from the likes of DJ Shadow, Qbert, Numark, J. Period, Z-trip (He has only one song.) ,etc. The battle modes are excellent. They put more focus on the players content then points. This enables player to concentrate on screen movements then who is in the lead. (Winner is announced at the end.) The Empire mode often has entirely too long mix play-lists. Over All its a good game, however, I rate it a one because the rap music on this release is less then pleasing (Drake, Niki and Lil Wayne). Most of songs have been played out on the radio or music video television. Great Club music is present of course, but you don't need a mix of Say Something by Drake. It's way too slow. Even my young nephews didn't understand why that song was in the game.
