This was fun to figure out and play with after my mavic mini the only way it could be better is if the fly more package came with it and if it was a pro 2 but I will get a mavic 2pro next both is better than one

Like this drone, was easy to get to know how to use it and the controls are no problem. Have got some great shots but camera controls can be a bit fiddly. Overall, satisfied.

This is my first drone and I bought it on the recommendation from a friend who owned the older Mavic drone. First, this thing is super easy to fly and because of all the sensors it is smart enough to not crash into objects. The software is very intuitive and while overwhelming, I do recommend looking at a few YouTube videos on how to interact with the software settings. It will help you understand why the drone does some of the things you may not notice at first. Additionally, something I highly recommend when you fly the drone is ALWAYS SET YOUR HOME POINT and wait for the audio indication (the voice) that it has been set. This way you can rest assured that if your drone ever loses communication with the controller, or the battery runs low, that your drone wil return home. One last thing, there are a few good mobile apps that compliment the DJI software really well. Get UAV Forecast (iOS) and AIRMAP (iOS). Both of them have great information not found in the DJI app like weather conditions, whether or not it’s optimal to fly your drone, etc.

Getting a different perspective on the world is a treat. Give yourself a day to get this drone set up. There is a lot to do: unpack, charge battery pack, charge controller, update firmware on drone, update firmware on controller, register drone with FAA, calibrate, simulate, practice. The Fly More kit is recommended because after all of the above is done you may need to charge the battery pack again, however keep in mind that the Fly More kit's four-battery station only charges one battery at a time. I was surprised by how quiet this drone is and by how well the sensors performed around buildings and trees. A lower price would be nice, but for the technology and capabilities packed into this drone and controller it shows that a lot of design thought went into it. For a newbie pilot, this drone is easy to fly and helps prevent the accidents that could have happened if it didn't have the extra sensors.

In March I purchased a Spark from Best Buy. The Spark is a great, really fun drone. When the Mavic 2 Zoom came out, I was ready for another drone. Since this has a zoom camera, I thought it was the perfect time to add a second. This drone is bigger, but quieter than the Spark. The fact that it has a 5 mile range is just downright exciting! So far I have had it 1.8 miles out and had no image lag or stutter. Someday I will push it to the limit and see how far it can go. This drone is perfect. Easy to fly, handles great, takes great photos and videos. Great battery life also. And scary fast! If you’re looking for your next drone, this is it!

Absolutely love this drone! Bought it for taking some cool videos during vacations. Easy to operate, video quality is A-mazing! Zoom feature and dolly zoom is awesome. I watched many YouTube videos to learn how to use the manual mode for video and taking awesome pics. Didn’t really care for the pro version (first time I’ve ever heard of Hasselblad, which tells you how much I really know about photography and care). Overall, for my purpose this is the best fit! It’s an expensive toy. Make sure to get DJI Care Refresh. I also bought the State Farm drone insurance ($60/year, covers any accidents/lost/stolen/not recoverable drone around the globe...Yes Anywhere in the world) since I travel a lot this was worth it for me. Make sure to get some ND filters before you head out to the beach. Fly responsibly!

This is a great all-around drone. Pretty easy to fly with several flight modes. Advertised at 31 minutes of flight time, great range, stable and the camera is perfect for the amateur photographer.

I bought this as an upgrade from my Mavic Pro. And it truly is an upgrade. It does everything the Mavic Pro did but only better. A couple things stand out immediately; It's much more quiet than any other DJI drone and feels faster. The updated/upgraded gimbal is also a nice change. It's much more sturdy looking and feeling. Image and video quality are excellent as usual for a DJI drone. Some of the new Intelligent flight modes are nice, but I don't tend to use those alot. I have other DJI drones, but this one does everything well and is m "go to" drone.

After reading several reviews I made the decision to purchase the Mavic 2 Zoom. I already had the Mavic Air which is a really good drone but the Mavic 2 iOS so much better. The camera is great especially with the zoom function and it also has hyperlapse and time lapse in addition to the other quick shots. This larger but quieter than the Mavic Air. Flight times are around 20-21 mins for me and that is perfect for getting great shots. One other difference is the Occusense which keeps the connection steady. I would highly recommend this drone and a fly more combo. I will use my Mavic Air for quick trips and reserve the Mavic 2 for my serious shots

30 minute flight time. Quiet in the air. Easy to fly. Extremely reliable connection. Very good video footage with zoom option. Definitely buy over the Mavic Air.

I had planned to snag an original Mavic when the new models came out and that notion quickly went out when I was looking into the features. The camera on the zoom is amazing and the dolly feature really adds that extra bit of spin to your footage to make them stand out. Make sure and watch videos before jumping right into it (it will need to charge anyway) and pick up a fly more kit, the extra batteries help you continue to practice when the included battery dies. More than anything, fly in an open area your first time! Dont go too crazy seeing how fast it is. While it IS fast, it does have a slight delay when it is further away from you to stop/slow it down. Dont want to crash it in the trees your first go!
