The camera quality is there. Ince dji updates firmware for full features this will be a great drone. I love it. Only complaint now is that the range is not what’s advertised.

However, It's very expensive. Only a bit better than the Mavic 2 Pro (image quality is almost the same). The price jump is not worth the added functionality. At the same time you could purchase a used Inspire 2 for the same amount of money. Better image quality. The battery life is not as stated on the box. On avg you might get an additional 6-7 mins than the Mavic 2. Final thought is that this drone would be excellent at a lower price point. Otherwise save yourself 2k and pick up a fully loaded Mavic 2 pro. Want more fun... get the cheaper fpv drone. Want something that won't leave your side with 90%+ the image quality... get the mini 2.

As such, DJI uses premium materials and iterates product features during research and development. Updating its flagship drone, DJI launched the Mavic 3 to offer a more automated and seamless flight experience, camera specs and performance capabilities.
Regarding camera system, DJI Mavic 3 is embedded with a Hasselblad professional-grade 4/3-inch CMOS and a 1/2-inch tele camera, marking a huge increase over the 1-inch type sensor in the previous DJI consumer drones. Up to 28x Hybrid Zoom makes it a unique tele camera that lets you effortlessly scout and plan your shots.
In terms of flight safety, DJI Mavic 3 integrates a brand-new sensing system. Though with less obstacle avoidance sensors than its predecessor, it can detect obstacles in all directions with extreme precision, letting you more focus on their shooting.
When it comes to flight time, DJI Mavic 3 is designed with higher-density Li-ion battery and offer up to 46 minutes of flight time, 50 percent longer than before.

It handles a bit differently then most of DJI's drones but with all the updates it keeps amazing me. Great buy!

I have the Mavic 2 Pro and really enjoy having the zoom feature as well as the new control. The fly more kit is definitely needed and the bag is really versatile. The extra battery life is great for videos.

It’s not fully equipped with all the advertised functions yet. But still love it so much. It’s super pricey though. Much higher priced than China.

There are a number of issues that DJI still needs to work out. If you're just shooting stills, it's worth getting. If you're shooting video, and you can wait, don't buy it until the January firmware updates. The app and the flight characteristics kept this from getting 5 stars.

It took a few weeks before the updates were able to be downloaded. With any item that is purchased there is always things that could be better. The use of a cell phone is ok but it is to small to view easily. I use an ipad mini and it is much nicer however it was tough to get the proper cable to use. But it works great once that happens. DJI did not have the proper cable. Poor marketing for them.
