This thing is awesome! Easy to use and setup. Small enough to carry around but large enough to be taken seriously. Great camera and battery time. Awesome drone at an affordable price.

If you need PORTABILITY and QUALITY this drone is a perfect blend of both. It's very small, lightweight, does fairly well in windy conditions (although not as good as Mavic Pro) and delivers almost identical quality to it's bigger brother. I would definitely recommend it for first time drone users as it is easier to learn with all automatic features and collision sensors.

The DJI is worth the price. It's easy to fly, takes great footage and makes all your friends want to fly it too. I initially bought the Parrot but returned it due to the lack of sensors to monitor hazards. The Parrot has a better camera but a camera means little if you crash your expensive drone. The DJI stays more stable, flies better at night and just feels more substantial.

I love my Drone! I looked all over for a drone and this is where I ended up. Mavic air is where it is! Very small, fast, easy to use. This is my first drone and this is awesome!!! I have crashed it a few times but it survives haha. Just don’t use it in sport mode close to anything else because all the sensors do not work in sport mode

Simply put, this is so much fun to fly, and it's automated sensors help me not destroy my beloved toy! The modes are great, the camera is impressive, but the onboard calculations it must do to keep it stable, even with a decent wind blowing, are just so impressive. The battery-to-fly time is a bit low at around 19 minutes maximum, but I invested in another battery (expensive, but worth it) so I could fly more! It folds up quite nicely as well, almost pocketable if you've got some baggy cargo pants. The only downer is that it's not quite pick-up-and-fly. You've got plug your phone into the controller, often calibrate it's compass, and THEN you can get flying. Don't forget, however, this is over the weight of "toy" drones, so you do have to register it with the FAA. It was a few bucks for a 3 year license, nothing terrible, but one more bump in the road between you and your first flight.

    DJI Service Awful

I had my Mavic Air five weeks before it stopped working. I had to send in my new drone to DJI for repair. Despite residing in Southern California, 67 miles from the DJI Cerritos CA. repair facility, I had to send the drone 1380 miles to Grapevine TX. I was told DJI does not stock the 30 parts required to repair the Mavic Air in California. It took UPS Ground over a week to get the drone to Texas. DJI repair informed me the fan had stopped working. DJI replaced the fan and sent me a bill for $140. The bill was for two hours labor ($65/hr.) and fan ($10). I had watched YouTube Videos in which the drone was disassembled in 15 minutes. So for ½ hour actual labor DJI charges a minimum of 2 hours labor plus parts. I was not required to pay the bill as the drone was covered under warranty. I asked DJI to also replace the control board as it had been overheated several times when the fan failed. At $208 the Control Board is most expensive component in the drone. DJI refused and instead sent me a refurbished drone. I asked DJI to repair and return my drone. DJI refused to return my property. I was told by DJI support chat that, “serial number 0K12FCC00D0002 is good as new and working perfectly”. DJI refused to provide any history on the refurbished drone I was to receive. When the “good as new” drone arrived two weeks later it was defective. The gimbal would not go above horizontal and the battery was difficult to install. I called DJI and asked if they would immediately send a replacement drone. I even offered to give my credit card information. They refused. Today I sent the refurbished drone back to DJI. This means another two weeks without a drone. DJI refused offer an additional one month extension on my one year warranty for the time I will be without a drone. No wonder DJI will give you your money back if you refuse to accept their terms and conditions.

Upgraded from the spark and the difference is huge. My spark was a really good toy but the mavic is a beast. Range is really great and the pictures are beautiful. This thing is super fast comparing to the spark. Worth every penny.

3rd drone I've purchased and the best so far. Rock steady hover, plenty fast in sport mode, amazing and stable 4k video, decent battery life, folds to near pocket size, etc... may be the last drone I need to buy.

i am a big fan of DJI products, this is my second drone from DJI and i love it. The Phanthom i had was too big to carry but this Mavic Air is the perfect drone in all aspects. Bought this on sale couple of months ago, had only chance of flying twice and so far so good. The drone is so powerful and compact to carry with you in your backpack wherever you travel. I love this drone although i wanted to get the white one, and confirmed with the bestbuy agent when i was getting it but i was so excited didn't pay attention and realized after i opened the box. Didn't want to pay the restocking fee by returning it, but hey still its a DJI Mavic Air dione, best one out there.

The Mavic air is very compact and easy to fly. It stays extremely stable even in wind and has a top speed of over 40mph. The camera quality is incredible very stable and clear.

It’s compact size makes it a great over all drone. With more sensors this time to help the flyer out. Camera capabilities were improved with Mavic Air!

A little pricey for a drone in my opinion, but once you get it... it’s definitely worth it. All of the different features it has makes this drone worth getting. The smart capture feature takes some getting use too, and the controls for the overall drone control is quite easy to understand. I don’t get a lot of time to fly my drone due to work, but when I do get the time, I’m definitely out there flying. Also the camera quality is 4K and crystal clear.

I've been really into 4k footage since i got my GoPro Hero6 and a 4k TV, and i have to say, watching the buttery smooth footage from my drone is awesome! DJI makes it really easy to fly and operate, with lots of saftey features built in, plus their insurance package is nice piece of mind if i am an idiot an wreck it. I love all the QuickShot modes; they make for some incredible shots!

Let me start by saying I absolutely love my Mavic Air, I really like that it comes with a case and remote included, this little drone captures some really great video and photos, if I were to change one thing about this purchase I should have saved more and got the fly more package to get more batteries, however with that said I would not change my choice of buying this drone.

This drone if set up correctly can performs just as well as the DJI Phantom Pro. I have both units and during daylight scenes they both have similar video qualities. The Pro has a very slight edge but I love the Mavic Air. Flight time is just enough to get up and out with great video coverage. Right now this is the best unit available. Small but big in functionality

I purchased this in hopes of adding some footage to my videos for YouTube etc. I am completely blown away at its capabilities and ease of use. Zero buyers remorse. I also find myself getting it into sport mode and having a blast. The 4k footage is super sharp. I couldn’t imagine a better experience with the app or the flying. They’re not leaving much to improve upon.
