      Hi Stevie,

You can contact DJI Support directly through the DJI website. Once you start a case the process moves pretty rapidly. DJISupport

Flies great, good control. Battery life isn't that great, and it's noisy. Handles well.

Well after 4 days, it needs constant updates. All the sensors get annoying. And now I have this battery error and it won't let me fly at all.

Hey Thumbs, sorry you're having some trouble with Mavic Air. There has currently only been one update released for Mavic Air so it's strange that you're getting constant updates. If the sensors are annoying, you can disable some of them in your aircraft settings. A battery error, however, is something you will need taken care of. Make sure to contact dji.com/support so we can get you a replacement asap! DJISupport

I was scared with the size of the drone but I am very satisfied with my purchase. Light quick great camera. I love the sensors on the front and back. The only thing I would like is better battery life.

I hesitated jumping into the drone world for a long time mainly because all the drones out there were so huge and bulky. DJI took the drones to a whole new world now with the Mavic Air which is small and perfect for the traveler/backpacker. I took this drone with me on a recent trip abroad and had a blast capturing a "bird's eye view" of the places I visited and making cool videos with the new "asteroid" and "boomerang" preset features! The one complaint I have about this drone is that the battery only lasts 18-20 minutes, so if you're getting this drone go ahead an get at least 1 extra battery.

Pros: -Video and image quality are spectacular. -very easy to fly, especially for beginners -compact, perfect for a mobile kit. Fits in my day pack, or airline personal item no problem. -adds professional look to your portfolio instantly. -great automatic features Cons -forced to use the wall charger, or buy an expensive mobile charger to get a charge in the field. You CANNOT charge the batteries in-body using USB-C. Absurd product decision. -Must have a perfect landing zone (not really a con, but there is not much ground clearance on this little thing). -Descent is slow -must buy extra batteries if in the field due to lack of usb-c power delivery (see above). In other words, power bricks won't help ya. Regardless of cons, this is the best first drone, and worth the extra money for portability and image quality over the spark, and Mavic Pro first gen.

This drone has everything you need! If you want to fly it for fun or if you want to take outstanding cinematic footage. I'm fascinated with how it handles the wind, the 4K camera quality, the built-in quickshot modes, battery life, the built-in obstacle avoidance system (sensors in the back, front and bottom! @@@@@@@ And the the 3D mapping that helps with the autonomous fly mode. If you are looking for the best drone under a thousand dollars, do yourself a favor and get the Mavic Air, you will not regret it!! The only thing I found as cons is that it cannot be charged via USB. However, that's not a show stopper for me since I already have a power bank with portable AC outlet.

    DJI Service Awful

I had my Mavic Air five weeks before it stopped working. I had to send in my new drone to DJI for repair. Despite residing in Southern California, 67 miles from the DJI Cerritos CA. repair facility, I had to send the drone 1380 miles to Grapevine TX. I was told DJI does not stock the 30 parts required to repair the Mavic Air in California. It took UPS Ground over a week to get the drone to Texas. DJI repair informed me the fan had stopped working. DJI replaced the fan and sent me a bill for $140. The bill was for two hours labor ($65/hr. @@@@@@@ and fan ($10). I had watched YouTube Videos in which the drone was disassembled in 15 minutes. So for ? hour actual labor DJI charges a minimum of 2 hours labor plus parts. I was not required to pay the bill as the drone was covered under warranty. I asked DJI to also replace the control board as it had been overheated several times when the fan failed. At $208 the Control Board is most expensive component in the drone. DJI refused and instead sent me a refurbished drone. I asked DJI to repair and return my drone. DJI refused to return my property. I was told by DJI support chat that, "serial number 0K12FCC00D0002 is good as new and working perfectly". DJI refused to provide any history on the refurbished drone I was to receive. When the "good as new" drone arrived two weeks later it was defective. The gimbal would not go above horizontal and the battery was difficult to install. I called DJI and asked if they would immediately send a replacement drone. I even offered to give my credit card information. They refused. Today I sent the refurbished drone back to DJI. This means another two weeks without a drone. DJI refused offer an additional one month extension on my one year warranty for the time I will be without a drone. No wonder DJI will give you your money back if you refuse to accept their terms and conditions.
