After watching many reviews on this and some of the higher priced ones I figured this is something that would work for a few years. The camera at 2.7k looks great, but the 30fps doesn’t look good when you pan horizontally. The stutter is far worse than watching a gold at 24p. I loved the Cinema mode which slowed all the functions down for a much smoother flight with less errors when trying to place it in the right location. I would totally recommend the set up that includes a triple charger and 3 batteries. During constant flight batteries will last 25 minutes, to 35 when you’re mostly hovering or moving slowly. I really loved this thing, unfortunately there was a deal breaker for us and it will be for you too. It repeatedly came back to home base on its own. Essentially wasted a lot of our time, and battery life for no reason. Customer support was great to talk to, but couldn’t resolve the problem. I doubt it happens much, it just turned out we upgraded and love our new one too.

Had the product about 2 weeks now, fantastic! Had so much fun flying around and the fact you have extra batteries already (that you need, by the time you try to setup the drone for that shot you want your already a few mins into flying) is awesome, plus the 3-port battery charger included, buy this combo pack. For only owning a couple weeks I’m pretty good already flying, easy to get used too, easy through the app. It makes sure you are safe for take off, etc. nice safety features as well with the blade guards and the sensors around it to sense danger. And the carry case is flimsy but a hard plastic, I may look into another but good for now.

Easy to fly, great camera, fly more combo is a must get! Saves on extra battery. Flight time is great for this mini drone. Can do ALMOST everything the big brothers can do!! Love it

Awesome flight time. Amazing video for size. Handfuls of goodies in the fly more pack. The battery charger is worth the extra couple bucks itself, let alone the (2) extra batteries you get. Gimbals are smooth, an silky. Come on get out there an fly some. Beyond anything you'd ever expect out of a 249g. drone.

I love this drone. Its really easy to fly, great camera, it takes good video and pictures, my grandson loves, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn how to fly for the 1 time. Although its not very good when trying to fly in the wind, but its a really good drone for the price.

Bought the DJI Mavic Mini since I also own a DJI Spark. I love the MM. 2.7k Video is super clear and love flying for 30 mins. It hovers and flys smooth. Highly Recommend this drone

With 2 firmware updates in 3 weeks DJI has added a lot of form and functionality to this drone. Takes great videos and with all the current updates now takes awesome pictures. Not quite as much adjustability as your DSLR but it's pretty close. This is much better than your average beginners drone almost bordering on professional quality. Reason for only having four stars is that because of the 249 gram weight it is highly susceptible to Wind & wind gusts. Pilots must have a little knowledge air quality at different altitudes to make sure the Drone does not fly away, of course there are many drone weather apps out there to help with this. Other than that this is a great beginner drone, I have owned several DJI drones and I find myself taking this one with me the most.

other than a 30 year learning curve on how to fly this little beast, I love the Mavic Mini. And in buying the combo, you really DO get so much more for not too much more. I couldn't afford a super pricey drone, but I didn't want something with quality. This drone fits that bill. It's sleek, not too loud, not too quiet, plenty of power for an afternoon, and easy to charge for an extended evening or weekend after a quick battery charge on one of the 3 batteries. It's difficult to view your phone screen in direct sunlight so that's part of the learning curve, as well as mastering the camera movements and phone screen controls. It turned cold before I could really get my hands-on training, so I can't wait for Spring. The video capture is brilliant in color and definition. This is a quality drone and not for a child to learn on. Buy your kid something from wally's. This is YOUR toy! :)

This is the easiest to fly drone. Simple and easy for anybody to fly. Takes good video also. 30 minutes of flight time per battery. I would definitely recommend the fly more combo.

Great beginner drone. It has so many features that super expensive drones woohoo have. Great camera. Definitely get the flu more combo. For the extra $100 it’s definitely worth it. You’re ripping yourself off if you don’t get it. And go with just the drone. That said this doesn’t have all the features that I would like. But for the price I can’t complain. My next drone will be the Mavic Air 2 (unless they come out with newer model in same price range) since it has obstacle avoidance and follow me feature. But it’s also double the price of the mini. So again, best drone for the money and for beginners.

It’s a great beginner drone for young and old easy to fly pretty good camera nimble and flys fast for a little guy. Just don’t fly outside with the propeller guards on or the drone won’t go more than a 100 feet or more with what they call a payload. Wish it had some of the higher end drone features like waypoints and the ability to create a mission to fly but, I guess that’s how they get you to upgrade. Also DJI has a service plan if you haven’t activated the drone or with 48 hours if it breaks falls in the water etc they will cover it. It’s not a bad idea more info on DJI’s site.

Great starter drone for the price and abilities. Great video and picture quality. It is impressively stable and agile in the air. Easiest drone I have EVER flown.

Love this drone. It is easy to use once you get the hang of it. Very stable, and takes great pictures and video! Very compact and easy to transport.

First time drone owner here. One week in and I find this to be a good buy -Easy to get started and use. After a few short flights I am able to send the drone out and bring it back easily, capture good pictures and video. Now some negatives. Range- I am maxing out around 1500 feet so well short of specs. I have a lot of trees around and they seem to degrade the range significantly. I have 40 acres and while I can reach all corners of the land, I have to stay quite high to keep the signal. Video- while video capture is good, it is definitely a challenge to use the yaw(left or right turn) and keep the video smooth, even in cinematic mode. I am sure this will improve with practice. The predefined video capture modes work very well. Overall I would recommend this as a first drone, just don’t expect the range you see in online videos unless the space is wide open and above trees and other obstacles.

I love it, simply put. It is ten times easier for traveling and even carrying around. I find it easier to quickly set up and take down. Check out the many youtube videos out there explaining the benefits and few downfalls. The ugly: When it crashes, which it will eventually if you use it enough. The wings break easier then most drones as they are not as durable. Keep in mind this is the cheapest but the absolutely best drone for taking 4k video and ease of flying. I could go on for a long time, but there are too many videos out there that you can watch to give you more explanation. Enjoy it!

Even though I have the Mavic Air - this Mavic Mini is easier to use. It almost has similar features as the Mavic Air at a cheaper price and more compact.

This drone is so much fun and very easy to fly! Pictures and video are amazing! I recommend the Fly more bundle is a great deal. You won't regret having more than one battery and replacement propellers to keep you in the air longer!

This is hands down the best budget family drone out there in 2020. Super easy to control, great stability and the camera quality is awesome for the price!

Very easy to use, takes great looking video. Great battery life, lasts about 25 mins per battery. Packs up small and fits nicely in luggage.
