The Mavic Mini is probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to drones. It fly's really well, takes awesome video and stays in the air for around 24-25 minutes. I got the Flymore kit and for the extra $100 you get approximately $200 worth of extra if purchased separately. If you're ready to step up from the toy drones this is a great choice.

This DJI Mavic Mini is wonderful to fly. Very easy to set up and install firmware. The DJI fly app is really nice. Video quality is not 4K, but it is darn good for my purposes. I am having a blast flying this drone. I recommend getting a landing pad, to protect the camera from dirt when taking off. I highly recommend this drone.

Wanted a drone for hobby flying and video and this fits the bill perfectly. The flight controls are unbelievable which makes it really easy to operate even for a beginner. The quality of the video is way better than I was expecting. Really smooth. Battery life is great too. This fits the bill for a reasonably priced and easily transported drone.

I moved to this from the DJI Spark. I dont think the sensor detection works as well and I really don't think you get more distance. But I do live in a neighborhood full of wifi interference. The best thing about this drone is the light weight and time in the sky (25+ minutes). The upgraded camera is also more cinematic.

I have a phantom 4 pro which of course, is an excellent product. But...to carry that thing traveling? Checked baggage at $75 a pop? No thank you. This little guy is an easy carry on. The video is 2K and the photos are 12MB. No, they aren't raw files, but it still captures some incredible images. Fly more combo is a must.

I am a first time drone owner a flyer. Bought this drone to add another dimension to my filming. I charged everything up and out the box it was good to go. I had no problem flying it. This is a great starter drone and with the recent updates you get the best of both worlds. A starter drone with some enthusiasts filming features.

Curb side pick up was a breeze. Online tutorial was very helpful in setting the Mini up for a first flight. The only issue encountered was turning the drone and the controller on. It took me a while to figure out the correct sequence of pressing the power button twice. Very happy with the ease of control and quality of the video.

Surprised how well it works for the price. My only disappointment was the poor description of what devices it works with. It DOES NOT work with every android phone on 6.0 and above. Requires more expensive phones with higher processor speed. Check for your exact phone before ordering. Camera is excellent for the price point.

Right out the box this is such an amazing drone, that’s easy to fly with having no previous drone experience. For such a compact / lightweight drone, it most definitely holds its own while compared to some of the other professional drones on the market. Honestly a great drone, at a great price, with amazing customer service!

It’s light, compact, high quality. What more could you want? DJI does it again. I’ve owned quite a few DJI drones and they’ve all impressed, but this one went above and beyond. I love how easy it is to bring around. All the features you need are there. Please spend the extra $100 and buy this ‘Fly More Combo’ it’s worth every penny!

Excellent drone for a beginner, but has enough features to satisfy veteran drone pilots. One caution - since it is so lightweight, pay close attention to the winds at higher altitudes, i.e. 100ft or more. The drone can get carried away with little chance of retrieval if the winds are too strong and in the wrong direction.

Overall this thing is very fun. If you’re just looking for something entry-level and willing to always keep it in your sight, it’s a lot of fun to fly. The range is nowhere near what the claim is in a normal setting. I live outWhere there is not much interference at all and still don’t get much range. Also it seems that even the slightest breeze send me the return to home due to gusty wins error. Camera is good, controller is easy to use. I would buy it again I just Would have lower expectations.

Extremely happy with the drone! Super easy to fly, so if you’re just getting into drones this is perfect for you. I wish I got the mavic pro so it can have the “follow me” option, but this one does awesome short videos and has excellent camera quality! This drone is extremely durable too! Highly recommend to anyone!

This drone is amazing! This is my first drone and it’s very intuitive. I have been flying it almost every day trying to get some good outside shots. Camera is great. Controls are great. Editing software in the app is subpar but makes it easy enough to make a cool video. Wish it had more Quickshot options and obstacle avoidance.

I have only had the cheap little toy drones and wanted something that actually worked and is usable. I did some research and felt this would work best for me as I get into drones. It was easy setup and use since pulling out of the box. For me the camera is good since I’m not attempting and high quality shots.

I'm not going to get into how awesome the drone is. It is a great value and several people have already gushed about it. It's all true. What I want to make people aware of is a serious flaw in the DJI Fly app that is new and used with the Mavic Mini. You have to take a couple of things into consideration when you read this review though. First, I bought this when the outside temperatures were below freezing and the stated operating temp of the drone is freezing to really hot (140 F if I remember correctly). Secondly, I live within 3 miles of an airport. See, as of right now, you cannot unlock the geo fences in the DJI Fly app. Within 3 miles of an airport, there are some places you can fly as long as you ask permission. The app used with other DJI products allows you to unlock these areas. However, if you don't go through the process and the GPS indicates that you are in said area, it will not allow the drone to fly. Basically, I bought this drone on the 11th, the day it was available in store, and I just flew it today, the 15th, for the first time due to this problem! I have no large indoor areas I can fly in, it's below the minimum operating temp outside, and I can't fly it in my house which is within 3 miles of an airport because there is no indoor flight mode and I can't unlock the area!!! Yes, I could stop being a pansy and fly it outside below 32 degrees, but I didn't want my maiden flight to be in those conditions. Plus I get cold too. I have reached out to tech support at DJI and they have said that they plan on fixing that particular bug sometime in late December with a firmware update. So until then, I have to hope it's nice enough to fly outside or risk damaging the drone if I want to fly this thing. And I'm in Chicago. Overall, though, the drone is great. I loved my flight today and look forward to many more flights and awesome footage!

This thing has been great. My first real drone, so I was a little worried on flying and crashing it. It is really easy to fly, haven't had any scares at all. Has auto takeoff and auto land so it makes it really easy. Camera is good not the best I've seen, but still sufficient to take some awesome footage.

Flys great. Nice look. Long lasting battery. No instructions, didn't know about fly zones and that dji won't even start in some areas. I wanted to fly in my friends back yard to show it off but couldn't. RESTRICTED. You need a memory card in the drone to access the drones camera shooting features, like a rocket shot,dronie,helix video. If i can save pics and video to my phone, why do i need a memory card to be able to take the quick shots. Again no instructions included. There are features and messages that pop up that need explanation. RTH may not work if windy, y? My drone needed to be unlocked and landed in the middle of street on its own in 100 seconds. A truck almost hit it as i raced several blocks to retrieve it. You have no control to cancel the landing when this happens. It stayed hovering in street. Has capabilites to have active track but it's not included. The farthest I've gone in 3000 ft away with an average of 500-700 ft before i begin to lose signal. I live in town and lot of towers. Haven't got close to the 2.5 mile claimed range! Takes nice pics and video. Would prefer not to use my phone and would like the controller to have built in video screen that may work better with the application. Other apps on my phone may cause issues I'm not aware of. I like the drone and glad it was semi affordable. Could go down a lil on price. ACTIVE TRACK UPDATE NEEDED! !!!
