The Mavic mini is a lite weight super versatile camera drone. It flies smooth and easy to control. The 2.7K camera and video taking is really nice and great quality, the 3 axis gimbal makes the pictures crystal clear and the cinematic video is fantastic. The fly more Kit is a must to keep you flying longer.

Bought for my 8 year old Grandson. Simple to set up, charge the 3 batteries, download the app, connect phone to controller and away the drone went. We were impressed by how easy it is to navigate. Videos are remarkable good and he has enjoyed it. We haven't tested the range of the Drone as of yet.

Excellent footage is captured on this drone, at high resolution (almost 4K). Great for beginner drone pilots. Great kit for the price it’s listed at. Do recommend purchasing if you are looking for something more cool to add into your videos. Batteries and controller is great. All about it is good.

I am a Part 107 holder and purchased this for personal use. While the size incredible small, it handles some decent winds and elements however, it severly lacks certain flight modes and not having a sensing system is a major fail. While this small drone is a powerhouse of a bird, I'd recommend getting the larger Air 2 for a better camera, better safety features, and more flight modes.

The Mavic Mini is extremely easy to fly and the DJI Fly application is used for flight and can also be used for video editing. The editor can add a music score to the edited video and can even help you create highlights in time with the score. At 249 grams, this UAV doesn’t need to be registered with the FAA!

Read several reviews before deciding this was going to be the drone to start off with. Very user friendly, and easy to learn. Also easy on the pocketbook compared to everything else out there. Definitely recommend the fly more kit instead of the standard. Once you start flying you won't want to stop.

Never flown a drone before this one. I thought it'd be a disaster. This thing is so easy to learn and navigate. The only thing I would say that I didn't like is that you have to take the phone out of your case for it to fit into the remote. But this package is awesome. Over an hour of fly time.

Actually, I exchanged this one shortly after purchase for the Mini 2 after thinking about it. It was a good decision to get the newest one. It was a Christmas gift for my spouse. He loves it!!!!! He had purchased a couple of other very cheap drones during the year just to mess around with and had thought about purchasing a "real" one but held off. I had no idea he was even familiar with the Mavic so needless to say he was pleasantly surprised. The assistance I had at Best Buy with the purchase was great. I was fortunate to have talked to one of the employees who knew all about drones and had the Mini 2. He showed me some of the pics it took that he had on his phone. He said the 2 was definitely the way to go over the 1st version. But when I 1st bought the 1st version, the cashier was familiar with drones as well and he said his friend had the 1st one and he loved it. He was hoping to buy the 1st one off his friend when his friend upgraded to the 2 which he was thinking about.

The Mavic Mini has far exceeded my expectations. It’s very easy to fly and the app works well. The video is smooth and clear. The fly more combo is definitely the way to go with the extra batteries and charger. I highly recommend this drone. I’ve had a blast with it and can’t wait to take it to more places.

Distance wasn't as far as they say it would go. Touchy on moderate wind, things shake a little more. Has great picture quality. I also have the mavic air ( still better) but the mini did give the air a run for the money. For the 30-40 hrs we have in right now, we are still finding new things it can do..

My husband absolutely loves this drone!!! The camera’s quality is amazing and the drone is easy to fly even for beginners. The app that goes with the drone is user friendly. (There is even find my drone on the app if it ever were to get lost) I would 10/10 recommend this drone. Well worth every penny!!!!

Love this combo. Went with this one because of the extra batteries. Drone flies great. Only thing, i updated the firmware went flying and got a motor error. this was only the second flight. Googled the error and simple prop change fixed the problem. Other than that video is awesome, great little drone.

I was concerned getting a drone this expensive as my first drone. As I began flying it, I realized it was fairly simple and easy to navigate. Video and pictures are very clear and crisp. I would recommend it for a beginner or more experience user.

I've had several drones during the last 5 years and have been learning. I've had large (Phantoms, Croma 4K) and this is the smallest one. The video is better than I need and love to look at all sorts of things at different viewpoints. This one is simple to fly and very portable to carry around.

We bought this for something fun to do. Great little drone. Camera is absolutely amazing. Very easy to fly. The only issue is you have to make sure it is compatible with your cell or tablet. We ended up having to buy my husband a new phone as his wasn't compatible, otherwise this drone is awesome.

This is a very capable drone. I have been flying drones since they came out. This is my first DJI drone and I am very happy with this small awesome drone. It is very stable and since the recent update it is comparable to other drones that cost a great deal more. Can't go wrong with the Mavic Mini.

I think this is one of the best drones for someone who wants to take nice pictures for a cheaper price. I love it and recommend it. It so easy to fly. My daughter loves it and she’s four. It’s good father daughter time after going thru this Coronavirus. Be safe and we can conquer this. God bless everyone

Used to fly RC Helis and Planes and decided to give one of these a try. Very stable for its size and image/video quality is very good. Since it will hover in place without any user input, should be pretty easy to learn for those who have never flown RC. Bumped into a fence when I got cocky and then stuck in a tree due to a miscalculation and neither one damaged it at all. Lost signal a few times and it came home. I liked it so much, I upgraded to the Mavic Air.

Very steady even with some wind. Gimbal does a great job of keeping the subject in focus. The Fly more kit gives you extra batteries. The only glitch is with the very short control cable to plug in your phone; you might need a longer one.

For a beginner in drone flight this is a great bye. The video that you get from the camera is just fantastic I’m glad I bought it. I am now looking towards possibly in the future of buying a DJI Mavic air 2. I would also say this would be a great little drone for vacation video. Fly safe have fun.
