I purchased the fly more combo, one of the things this combo has is a nice looking case, however this case is poorly designed and it will damage your drone propellers, I only tested the drone for 18min and put it away in the case, the second time I used it, I started getting this motor error message, and had to replace the propellers, turns out the case that comes with this set will bent the propellers and you’ll end up replacing them, I had to do this with only 21min of fly time on the drone, poorly designed case, if you purchase this combo, do not use the case, look online for mavic mini motor error and you will see A LOT of people with this issue, all that caused by the case, other than that, the drone feels cheap but it flies and is stable just like the mavic pro, I still recommend the drone, just not the case.

I waited a long time to make this review, as I wanted to get the full experience with it. I originally bought it last May [of 2020], and within the first month I had to exchange it about 5 times because each one had a different problem. Several of them had a control problem where it would unexpectedly fly where ever it wanted and slam into the ground, lift back up and then hiver unresponsive to your control input; and two of them had some sort of motor issue on one of the rotors. Was this close to returning it all together but finally got one that last a while with relatively no issue, and it lasted a pleasant 6 months. But in the end I guess the power issue persisted because eventually, even on a calm wind-type day, doing very little, it would say “max power reached” or something of the sort and then slowly fall to the ground again, but wouldnt slam. I had to walk about half a mile to go retrieve it as it wouldnt fly back to me. As such I stopped using it for a while, but today used it and the same thing happened only this time it slammed into the ground and got ran over. I’m debating on if I wanna upgrade to a better one from this brand if this is what their consumer model gives me. For the money, its a good deal. Its obviously not a higher end one and that’s fine, I knew that. It takes decent pictures and video. If you’re buying it as just some toy to mess with for a while and then forget you own it, go for it. If you want one that you can use for a number of years (which was my hope, I obviously would’ve upgraded but would still keep this small one around) do not buy it.

A+++++ easy to fly pictures and video come out clear

Fantastic entry level drone. For the price, it’s pretty tough to beat. It won’t do 4K video like it’s big brother, but the still photos it can do are great! The plastic frame has a little more flex to it than I would like, but that’s because DJI is keeping it under 250 grams to avoid having to register it.

It's not a Mavic Pro, but is a great drone for trips and taking some quick photos. The picture below was taken using my Mavic Mini about a mile from the take off point.

This is my first drone and I love it so much. It’s so much fun to fly around and takes really smooth video. It’s 2k but honestly can you really see a difference between 2 and 4K. Glad I got the fly more combo. The extra batteries and case make it more then worth the extra 100 bucks.

I haven't haven't done much with it but i love it. It is easy to fly the picture and video quality is amazing for such a small device. I took it to the desert and the sharpness of the pictures was incredible. I can't wait to take it to more hiking adventures with me.

The Mavic Mini has been very fun to use. Great signal reception at a distance with clear unbroken POV. The flights have been smooth and easy to control. There is enough power to maintain position and flight even with moderate winds. I've sent the drone up to near it's legal height limit (nervously) and have gotten great aerial shots. Even when I lost orientation, the return home feature worked flawlessly to within 10 feet. I have tended to lose signal at about 1 mile, which is less than the specified 2.5 miles, but the range is satisfying & rarely would I need to even go that far unless in vast plains or water situations. Again the return to home automatically sent the drone back, all the while recording great videos. The pre-programmed flight features make for great aerial selfies and other photo/video shots. Flight times have averaged about 20 minutes, not 30, but again satisfactory. This is a great drone for its purpose.

This is a great fun to fly drone. Camera and video quality is excellent. Be sure to watch some YouTube videos before flying to learn the basics and you shouldn't have any problem. I recommend this to anyone starting out.

Best Buy shipped the drone with a quickness! I’ve enjoyed flying this drone for past weeks! The size is perfect for those beginners out there! I highly recommend getting a large micro Sd card! 32gb wasn’t cutting it! Thank you guys again for such a perfect buy!!!

A great super fun toy. I have been flying it all over down town Kansas City MO. Super easy to use and the camera to 10 80 P. I don't know why anyone would hire a professional photographer anymore when for $500 you can do it all yourself!

Great DJI product. I have the phantom advance and it’s a pain to travel since it’s in a trunk like case. This littl tough and fast mavic mini does nothing but impress me every day. I would suggest you get a range extender,after I received my extender (cost $12) it went out to sea at a vet a Mike and I had more in the signal. I would recommend this to all levels of droners

This has to be the easiest to fly drone I have ever owned. Right out of the box I had it up in the air without any issues. I can't say that about any drone I own. Great drone for beginners and experienced pilots alike.

Good camera quality, super light and long control signal. The best to travel.

Excellent drone...but do not trust flying over water....Lost mine in the water... it just lost power. I posted the video to my FB page. :( Not sure what happened , it slowed down, and went down.
