Great flying drone !!!! Works really well , I’m always excited to fly it when I get a chance and explore the horizon.

Purchased this drone as a gift for my dad. My brother did all the research but so far it has lived up to what we expected. It has been too windy for him to use it much, but the little he has used it he has loved it. The only difficulties we have had so far were figuring out if he would prefer to use his phone or iPad to control it. The cord it comes with is too short to comfortably use the iPad but we purchased a longer one and we are hopeful that will work well.

My first drone. was very easy to use, the fly more combo is 100% worth it. Doesn't do well in low light places

After initial charge: batteries and controller, works better than I anticipated. I flew around the house and fascinated the cats. I flew over my house on first flight outside in slightly windy conditions without issue.

Great for beginners or experienced pilots. The fly more kit is worth it for the extra batteries & charging hub alone.

Long Story Short... My drone flew away errantly and landed on someone's roof! There are many good things about this drone such as the flight time per battery, the clarity of the photos and video being taken, the size, flight tracking, and the RC functionality. But what good is all of that if your drone loses signal and fly off a mile away? I decided to take out my drone and shoot some aerial footage for a documentary I am working on. I read you can get 2 miles out of this drone - welp, it was more like 500 ft. The range is not the same here in the city (Philadelphia) as maybe the advertised range they have for wide open country areas. Just as I was bringing my drone back to me, it apparently lost signal without warning. I walked closer to it hoping to regain signal, but it never happened. My drone then started flying off on it's own not responding to "return to home" or anything. The drone landed about a mile away on someone's roof. The great thing about this situation is that the drone will start to land when the battery gets to a certain percentage. That allows the drone to land and then capture it's last location before it dies. That is how I was able to locate my drone (and I wont share the lengths of what I went through to get it back). The drone in the city has a tenth of the range advertised. If you can work within that scope the it's a very good tool. I'm debating on returning because it's not worth losing $500 with no coverage on a mechanical failure.

This drone is definitely worth the price. First DJI drone purchase and I’ll definitely be getting my next one from them.
