This thing may seem brittle but rest assured, it is not. The flight quickshots along with the auto stabilizing gimbal, make this the top tear drone In it’s weight class. Especially if you don’t have $799+ to get one of the big boys. #DJi4LiFE

I got this for class work since I was taking drone courses, and for light work later. Its been perfect for both so far. Active tracking is desirable but no sensors nixes that. For what it is, its an excellent everyday flycam. Exactly as advertised.

Amazing for a beginner, and relative cost. Stands up surprisingly well in windy conditions. It's not perfect for cinematic purposes, but it's great for learning, getting landscape/nature/atmospheric shots, and just learning.

My first DJI drone and I love it so much! it flies so smoothly. Dont have to worry about it drifting away at all. Very steady video recording as well. Recommend this highly

I lucked out and was able to get the Mavic Mini on release day. While I've only had the drone for two days at this point, I absolutely LOVE it! I'm a relatively new drone user. A few years ago, I purchased a DJI Phantom 3 Standard. As a college student, budget has always been a huge factor when deciding on a drone and the Phantom 3 was really all I could afford at the time. While it was a ton of fun, the thing was big and awkward and I had to lug an entire backpack around in order to take it anywhere. It couldn't hold a strong connection at longer distances and it was loud and whiny. After just a few months, I sold my Phantom and put a hold on drones for awhile. Then the Mavic Mini popped up and has been nothing short of perfect (in my opinion). At $399 for the drone alone or $499 for the Fly More Combo, you are getting an incredible value. This drone weighs 249 grams (without any accessories attached), which means you do NOT have to register it with the FAA, pay the registration fee, or follow other specific regulations that drones over 250 grams are subject to in the United States (though you should use good judgement and ALWAYS pay attention to local regulations and other potential drone restrictions). This drone can shoot 2.7k video at 30 FPS and take 12 MP photos. Considering the size and weight of the drone, this is insane. While many people may criticize this drone for not being 4k capable, this personally doesn't bother me. I'm not using this drone for professional photography or video making. 2.7k at 30 FPS is gorgeous for someone who just wants to capture beautiful scenery while traveling or use their drone to record fun family moments. I recognize this little guy won't crank out professional material and anyone looking to buy the Mini should also understand that. The new DJI Fly app is easy to use, especially for a new drone pilot. DJI has cut out a lot of the advanced settings used in the Go apps and has made perfect use of the essentials. While the Mavic Mini does not use OcuSync, the WiFi connection can still get you range up to 4 km (~2.5 mi) and the flight time on this thing will truly let you test that. Each battery will allow you to fly up to 30 minutes, though flight times are usually closer to 20-25 minutes depending on weather conditions. Out of all this, I think the most impressive thing about this drone is its portability. At 249 grams and with such a small, folding profile, there's no excuse for not taking this thing everywhere with you. I purchased the Fly More Combo and I really think that's the way to go. For an extra $100, you're getting two additional batteries (a $90 value in and of itself) that can give you up to an extra hour of flying time, a charging hub, extra joysticks for the remote, extra propellers and screws, propeller guards, and a carrying case, which truly makes portability even easier with everything but the prop guards fitting inside. If you're considering purchasing this drone, I'd highly recommend watching some YouTube videos and doing research to learn if it's the right one for you. If you're a budget conscious and new to the hobby, but want a high quality product that can get you really incredible footage, I don't think you'll be disappointed!

This drone has been grate right out of the box recommend extra batteries for sheer grate pitchers and video and lots of fun obstacle avoidance works great when it’s on tracking cam

This is the beat purchase I’ve ever made. Just look up the videos out there. The mavic mini is NO JOKE. You will NOT be disappointed.

One thing that I want to ask dji is this dron doesnt have a sound recording Function. I know upgraded version has it but I still want my one contain that function too.

Been wanting to purchase one for a long time and finally pulled the trigger on this Dji mavic mini been traveling around with this drone and so I'm happy with it.

Love the new device, it's been missing for 5 days now and I feel like I lost a great thing to bring joy to me and my family. Not having it to film on Father's Day brings great sadness. For the most of it hopefully I be able to get it retuned soon.
