So far, got to run this drone once, I use the iPhone 8+ but couldn't get the screen to flip, otherwise I would have given this 5 stars but not able to see the screen properly is a huge deal, I researched online and saw I'm not the only one with this issue and from what I read, customer support is not all that great but that's not my experience so I will leave that out of my overall rating.

This drone is exactly what it says it is - mini. This has both advantages and disadvantages but it really boils down to what you want to do with it. I came from a first generation Autel Robotics X-Star Premium drone which if you know what that is, you know its quite large. So large in fact that it wasn't practical for me to really take anywhere due to its large size paired with the suitcase to carry it and all of its accessories. I opted to try to the Mavic Mini so I sold my Autel X-Star Premium in hopes the mini would be all I needed. I loved the size of the Mavic Mini. Its absolutely perfect if you are going for size or weight. Easy to hand launch and easy to pack away and very convenient to take with you. The fly more combo is definitely the way to go if you are looking to purchase the Mini due to the 3 batteries, battery charger and carrying case alone. I did not use the prop guards. The Pros: -The size is great if you are going for small -It is very light -You get a lot of fly time with the extra batteries included in the fly more combo kit -The camera is very good for such a small profile drone -The app is very simple and easy to use -Controlling the drone is very easy which is good for beginners -The drone is very portable The drone definitely has a bunch of excellent things about it and before I move on to the cons, keep in mind I have a certain expectations and requirements that fit my particular needs so the following may or may not apply to everyone. The cons: - No manual mode for video - Limited range due to WiFi connectivity to the drone and interference where I live - No 4k video (not a deal breaker whatsoever) - Wind limiting due to the weight and size of the drone For the price, this drone is every bit worth the purchase. For me, I was looking for things this particular drone didn't have nor should it for the price. I was having a good bit of difficulty with the video transmission due to no Occusync and being in a very noisy WiFi environment. To put it in perspective, I returned the Mini and purchased the Mavic 2 Zoom which does meet my needs but at a much higher price point. All in all, this is an excellent drone and I enjoyed every aspect of it.

This is a great drone for beginners. easy to set-up, fly, and take great pictures and video's with. Android app works very well too. Product has built in tools for safety, and compliance. I live near a large busy airport, and the application makes it easy to comply with changing regulations. I was pleasantly surprised by the range and altitude capabilities. The light weight, and compact size is amazing. No registration (due to small size) was a plus. Only downside to the size is that wind took it into a tree. That was caused by my lack of flying experience. That crash caused a broken arm, which was easy to find, and reasonably priced to replace.

Great drone. Easy to setup and fly. Easy to carry. Has some great features and options. Long flight time and good range. Can it handle wind well? Not really but this thing weighs next to nothing and still pushes through like a champ. You cannot beat the quality and options at this price. If you are even just considering buying this...stop thinking about it and go get one. I recommend the fly more pack which makes the value even greater. Most parks are still open during lock down. Get off the couch and go Fly!

Definitely not a toy. It may be small in size, but it is a very capable camera drone. It is very easy to fly and make videos. It may not be as professional as it's bigger brothers, but it comes close. Perfect for a beginner. Long flight time (20+ minutes) with good range (over 1 mile) at a great price ($400). Only problem I have had is the props won't stay together when you put it back in the case. If you are not careful, you could bend the props.

For a first time drone buyer this thing is awesome. Researching this I am absolutely sure that I got the most bang for my buck. Obviously there is no obstacle avoidance and limitations to the camera/video quality, but as a prosumer camera hobbyist, the photo and video quality is worth the price. One step down from top end stuff and you can find some tricks on YouTube to have more control of the settings. Super small and easy to get flying in minimal time. It holds up amazingly well in fairly strong 20-30 mph wind gusts and you can barely ever see it getting blown around on video. It's amazing how far image stabilization software has come over the years. If you are looking low budget look no further than this one and just be smart about where you are flying it. Also, look at a range test on YouTube and you will be amazed at how far you can actually fly this thing and not lose the signal. That's what finally got me to pull the trigger on it!

This drone is small and packs a major punch! I take it with me on all trips and adventures. It's my favorite travel companion.

This thing is extremely easy to fly, even for a beginner. Even an experienced drone pilot could find use for this little guy. Great flight time, great picture. It’s compact size makes it so easy to toss in a pack for a hike and get some great shots while out exploring. The fly more combo is definitely the way to go here. Although the battery life on this truly is incredible, you’re gonna want some extra juice, because you will get hooked and want to take more video and pics. 4 different quick shot modes to choose from, return to home feature. Article camera gimbal control. Takes some getting used to for the flight app, since FAA regulations do still apply to this drone, even though it’s below regulation weight for registration. Get one, you won’t be sorry, happy flying.

Purchased this Drone for my son for Christmas. Ordered on line with pick-up at store. Initially, the Drone wasn't going to be in until after Christmas (which was a disappointing), but to my surprise, the item was delivered to the store before Christmas!!! So, I was able to have it under the tree for Christmas!!!! The Drone is very compact. The included case is very nice, along with the extra batteries. Batteries take a bit to charge up, but do get good fly time on the batteries. The camera is great and takes awesome video. It appeared to be easy to fly, as my son felt comfortable in flying after a couple quick flights. Highly recommend the Drone and the Combo unit.
