I had been looking at drones for six months or more, and had decided on the Mavic Pro because of its small size and the overall very favorable reviews. Then I had to wait FOREVER for it to come back in stock. Boy, am I glad I did! The product description exactly matches my experience, including operation, battery life, everything. It's pretty quick and easy to get into the air if you take the time to watch the videos. Once it's in the air, WOW! What a complete blast to fly. I haven't done anything fancy yet, nor have I spent a lot of time with photo or videos (which was the whole purpose of the purchase), but evens sans that aspect of this device, this 56 year old grandma lady has gone back to being a teenaged tomboy. Worth every nickel, just for that. Thank you DJI!

My daughter has one and I was impressed so this 72 year old got one too. Watched some Utube videos and gave it a try. It is easy to learn and really fun to fly. Tons of settings that are easy to find using the intuitive screen on the DJI app. Both pictures and video are crisp and clear, just make sure you tap your iPhone screen to focus. I have lots to learn about the Mavic Pro but I already like what I see so far.

I have never used or played with anything like this before and the wife was not very onboard until.... She saw the video quality and what it is capable of doing. WOW.... Super easy to learn how to fly it. Video and picture quality are top notch and even simple editing is easy enough for anyone to figure out. This is beyond fun and creates a stunning perspective we would have otherwise never been able to see...

The Mavic Pro is really a huge step change from DJI. It now gives you the quality experience of the larger equipment, with a portability that cannot be matched. I can not have my drone in the air in 30 seconds from putting my hands on it in the hip bag that was provided with the unit. The battery life is also very impressive. This is equipment that was really designed for the active user. Love it.

Having flown UAS’ (drones) in the military I was skeptical at how the DJI Magic Pro would perform. After speak to a few people who owed them I decided to pull the trigger and purchase this model. To my amazement it is easy to use and while it has its limitations I was very impressed at how well it performed in the field. The camera has an amazing picture quality & the ability to change filters is a nice touch for cinematography. The bird itself is constructed solid & folds down nicely so I can carry it in a backpack. The weight isn’t bad for this model & it’s capabilities. I purchased the fly more package because of the number of accessories for the price. You can not even buy the batteries that are included in this model for a lower price with the base model. If you are thinking of purchasing a drone for personal or professional use this is a great base model that will get the job done. Speaking of work my department has this exact same model & we use it regularly in our normal daily operations & it works great. This bird can also fly in inclamate weather. I’ve flown it in a snow storm with no problem. However I would refer the beginner to the manual to learn the weather and general flight rules, limitations, & tolerances. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great quality drone that is easy to operate & give you great photos/movies for the price point.

Great product. I absolutely love the portability of the thing. I have the Phantom Pro as well. That's also a great unit just not as portable. The Mavic is affected much more by wind than the Phantom. So high wind is an issue with it. There is also an annoying sun shadow in videos and photos caused by the camera cover. I've since removed that and replaced it with an open gimbal cover.

Although I did a lot of research, I was still surprised how easy this was to fly out of the box. I'm new to drones, but have flown RC aircraft in the past. I'm a photography hobbyist and this is going to make for some pretty amazing images. I still have a lot to learn, and there are a lot of settings and capabilities that I'm still not sure how to use, but wow, this is fun.

I have flown the Mavic Pro several times and am becoming more familiar with handling it while taking photos and videos. It takes a bit of practice to get smooth, seamless videos. I got the set with extra batteries, which is a good idea. Working on photo quality, which is not the best. Trying to learn the settings. Just went back to Best Buy and got a set of filters which might help with creating more contrast. My biggest problem is that the MicroSD card will not come out. I went to the Best Buy to purchase tweezers for electronics, which I read was what to use. They don't sell them so I will have to take the drone in to the Geek Squad. On line reports are that this is a common problem. It really is frustrating. Otherwise, the drone does an excellent job. I've taken several photos of our jobs for work. Videos also.

This drone is exactly what I was after. I almost bought a Phantom 4 but was convinced by a friend to get the Mavic. So glad I listened to him. Incredibly stable drone with many camera and control adjustments. Couldn't have made a better choice. I'm using an older Sony video camera bag to carry the drone around and it fits like a champ. Loads of extra space for batteries and charger. Well protected in the bag. There are plenty of online drone video reviews to look at. Most agree this is the perfect combination of portability, quality and performance.

This is my second drone and it is my favorite! my first drone was the DJI Phantom 2 and it was pretty cool and advanced to the others on the market at the time, but it is pretty big and does take a few minutes to set up and get ready to fly. With the MavicPro, it fits in a small backpack and is super light and easy to transport. I love DJI so getting the MavicPro was a no brainer. This drone is full of features like: obstacle avoidance, follow me, fixed wing and a bunch of other flying modes. Super easy to control and only takes seconds to set up and fly. The camera is super clean and the HD 4K is amazing!!! The price is up there, but you won't get the same quality, modes and safety features than you would with those other cheap drones. This Drone stands in the professional level but even a beginner can fly it.

this was the 1st ever drone i purchased. i have been going back and fourth between buying the dji spark and this mavic pro and i must say its a good deal. i got it on black friday and saved 150$ off the fly more combo. i chose this over the spark because when i saw the spark in person it was like a toy it’s very small, i’m concerned if birds would attack it or it would drift to strong winds. the mavic doesn’t have those cool gesture controls but it can fy further and not to mention the battery life is 2x the spark’s. before using it make sure to watch youtube tutorials as dji didn’t put instruction manuals on this thing out of the box.

I’ve never flown a drone before and I went all in with the DJI mavick been flying for one week now. It’s hands down the most fun I’ve had, it’s really easy to fly and has a lot of features that I haven’t touched yet. I know this is a aerial photography video drone but to just fly around has been a lot of fun. I’m loving every minute with it.

The Mavic is the best I have ever owned. Having flown a lot of drones before, I would suggest this drown for anyone that can justify the price. There are cheaper drowns on the market. But, the Mavic offers the best in stability, portability, and performance at this price point. The camera takes great pictures and video at 4K. It is super stable. Put the Mavic in the sky and it will stay there until you ask it to go somewhere else. Even in windy conditions, the Mavic holds is location. Taking video is as easy as pressing a button the remote control. The gimbal removes any bouncing around in your video that may be caused from wind. I pack it up into a camera bag and take it where ever I go. If you are looking for the next level in photography, I give the Mavic a full recommendation.

Purchased for my husband for Christmas after researching online. Best quality for the price. Very compact and portable. High quality camera. Good battery life. Stable at high altitudes. Lots of accessories included.

This drone is an amazing overall package. It is a excellent beginner drone as it is very easy to operate. Just make sure to watch DJI training videos on youtube to get to know all the basics. The battery lasts a whopping 27 minutes, which is enough to make you bored of flying. The controller uses your phone (I recommend an apple product as the android bug is buggy and crashes a lot). It is amazing to be able to use you drone in FPV. Just that alone makes it worth it. The camera package is also tremendous. Super quality. Get yourself a polarizing filter to improve the image and protect the lens. The stabilizing gimble is flawless. Also, portability is a great plus. Get a nice compact carrying case and you are good to go. Take that thing with you on vaca!

I’ve owned a handful of high end drones with 4K cameras. This one is so nice takes beautiful video and pictures. I love the size, you can fold it up to such a compact size that you can take it anywhere. I did some aerial video in 40+mph winds and was pleasantly surprised on the image stabilization, this thing is rock solid!

Pros: It fits in my laptop bag, shoots 4k video, shoots raw stills, auto exposure brackets still images, incredibly stable, easy to learn, robust feature set, super reliable performance, affordable. Cons: None.

This is only Drone that top every other Drone .. from it look to it small size easier to carry... 45MPH and 35 min fry time ... very stable against wind... love it love it... if you want to buy drone this is it
