I have flown many RC Helicopters and Quad-copters before, and the DJI Mavic-Pro is hands down absolutely the easiest and most fun to fly. Plus it takes great pictures and cinematic looking video too! One of the best features is it folds up and transports in a compact size. The two extra batteries and case are a must.

I've only flown my Mavic Pro several times and I am very impressed by how stable and responsive this little drone is. It is easy to fly once you've figured out the controller. I haven't explored all that it is capable of but what functions I have used I must say I am amazed. I use an Ipad Mini 4 instead of my Android phone and it is so much better looking at the video feed on a big screen. The camera on this drone is awesome. The video and still picture quality is crystal clear. If you have the dough to spend on this work horse I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

This is my first photography drone, and I feel it is a good choice (albeit pricey) for a beginner. The drone uses an app on your phone or tablet, and it's pretty straightforward. The controller holds your phone in place (and can even charge), although it's an awkward process to hook it up. I started in "beginner mode", which limits the distance your drone can travel, and I would recommend doing the same until you learn how the drone handles and the controls. The camera is really solid, and the gimbal keeps it steady while you fly. Just be mindful of where you're flying (per FAA rules), and what you're using it for, and it'll be a blast! It made my dad jealous, so I figure it's a cool gadget.

After seeing how portable this drone was from some YouTube review videos, I was completely not prepared for how small it actually is. Not only is it extremely portable and takes fantastic video, it is one of the most advanced drones available. The fly more combo is the package to get. I’ve used the included car charger several times while out camping or 4wheeling. Even though it has around 26 min of average flight time, the included 2 extra batteries extends your enjoyment to about an hour. The accompanying app is top notch and goes along with their top notch drone. If you are active in the outdoors, this is the drone for you. There’s nothing like tossing this into a packed Jeep and hitting some trails.

Overall this is a great drone. This is my first but I've flown others. The range out on it is incredible. So far the longest flight out I've been is 13000ft and no issues with signal strength. Video signal was strong as well. I've yet to use all the features on this bird as there are so many so every day I'm learning something new. Battery life is the longest I've seen with flight times just shy of 30 minutes. This changes though based on wind speeds and your flying characteristics. The controller on it is perfect, small and compact unlike the Phantom series which are far too large. Image quality is 4k and clear. if you fly with the dome on you can get glare in your photos. I'd recommend using it though if you are new to drones. The safety features for collision work well as I've tested them at lower speeds. Keep in mind that when in multiple flight modes these safety features are disabled. The only negative I can think of with this drone is camera control. With the handheld controller you can only tilt the camera up 30 degrees and fully down. In order to pan left or right you need to physically move the drone. I'm told that if you purchase the goggles to go with it you have full control of the camera gimbal. I'll just maneuver the drone as the goggles are another $450 I believe. Overall great drone and good or both beginners and advanced flyers.

Purchasing the DJI - Mavic Pro Quadcopter was a no brainer...! Easy to understand and use I was flying within the first 30 minutes after charging the controls battery and unit. Quickly took it off "Beginner" mode and began learning the throttles. Would highly recommend this compact quadcopter!

I am a complete novice when it comes to drones, this was my first purchase, and I could not be happier. This is perfect for the use I had in mind (cool pics of the places we hike) and so much more. I wanted a drone mainly for the different perspectives in photography it offers. The camera is awesome, the stability is amazing, and the weight/size was one of its best selling points for me personally. It is very comapact and easy to travel with. It slips right into my backpack even in the original box. The first officially hike we took it on, we launched under some cramped conditions. The drone handled like a dream, even though there was an inexperienced pilot at the controls.

I received this for Christmas and it is the best. Super easy to learn to fly with the beginner mode enabled. Takes awesome video and pictures. I did a lot of research and watched a lot of YouTube videos before I decided on this one. It is a great first real drone. could not be happier.

This is a great drone. Very easy to fly right out of the box and has a lot of nice features for more advanced photography/videography. It has different flight modes from beginner to sport that will help you become a good pilot quickly. Sport mode is a lot of fun! It takes great photos and videos. The compact size and foldability make it easy to travel with as well. Probably not the absolute best photo/video drone available but ease of flight, compact size and multiple features make this an awesome drone for most enthusiasts.

Awesome product! So much packed into this little thing. Very good camera. There are better cameras out there, but this quality is very very good. Easy to carry around and has a bunch of add ons too. I researched for months and pulled the trigger on this on, I made the right choice.

I guess I can’t be sure since I am technically a beginner. I”be had a few cheaper mostly lightweight plastic quadcopters and such, but this is a true drone. Flying it is a breeze. It has a great camera, batteries last about 15 to 20 minutes, and it’s a ton of fun. I highly recommend it.

This is one of the best drones out there! Compact, easy to fly and it takes excellent pictures. A little pricey, but if you’re looking for a great drone, you won’t be disappointed!

The Mavic Pro is an amazing drone. It is small enough to carry with and big enough to be stable in pretty high winds. It has a fantastic camera that gives you the cinema quality you are looking for. It is super agile and quick getting close to 40mph in sport mode. \ Overall DJI hit this one out of the park. The fly more package is a great option it basically gives you everything you need to have a great setup to run the drone for about an hour and a half. I would recommend getting some better micro sd cards, the one that comes with it is small and it will fill up quickly. I recommend getting a few 64GB cards.

I had no experience flying drones before I purchased the Mavic Pro. It took me just a few minutes of set up time before I was flying in beginner mode and taking photos of my house at 60ft. After flying this only 1 time, I know it was a great purchase and can't wait to fly again.

This is my first drone and it is amazing. Very easy to fly for a beginner and has a lot of features that help keep you in the air and not crashing. Lose sight of the drone? Push the home button and it will fly right back to the take off point. Amazing video and still pictures.

This is one of the most advanced drones available for the price point. Very stable and responsive and with the right setting and skill level the 4K 3 gimbal Camera will produce outstanding results. I fly an Inspire 2 as my other drone and they are both a pleasure to fly

Recently upgraded from my Phantom 3 Pro to the Mavic Pro. I don’t see any downside and the portability means I can take it anywhere. I recently climbed Mt. Fuji and was able to get some footage of the crater at the top. Stable and more “cinematic” video than the P3Pro.

This drone is freaking awesome. The app is powerful and easy to use. This is a major improvement over my Phantom 3 Professional. The whole thing with controller and extra batteries fits in a small lunch box size case. It great. Pictures and video are off the hook.

Only quirk I have is it can’t handle very much wind. Still flys but not very stable. Takes great photos and videos. Very easy to fly and handles great in low or no winds. I love how compact it is. Would be nice if the carrying case would hold the batteries and charger with the drone and remote. Over all a great product.

Had my Mavic Pro now for three weeks and very happy with it. Easy to fly and takes very good 4k video and pictures. Best part is fun to fly. Long as you take care of the tool it will last a long time.
