Not as amazing as the phantom 4 pro, this drone still shows is capabilities with incredible photos and videos. Easy to fly and great support.

This is one awesome drone it has it all perfect for beginners and pros just takes a lil practice to get used to more sensors would be perfect

I’m 54 years old with zero and I mean absolute zero drone experience. Also never been a gamer so my fingers don’t work fast but I believe drones are the future so I decided to buy this one. Let me tell you if I can fly this thing right out of the box, anyone can! I literally was shaking on my first flight but if you read all the info before, it’s a piece of cake to be feeling like an experienced pilot in no time. Safety features galore help protect your investment from crashing. I highly recommend this drone, even for first time flyers.

Love it, the DJI GO app works wonders and makes cinematic shots easy to get ! Portable and easy to take anywhere ! Highly recommend this.

I have a DJI Phantom 4 Pro that I compare my Mavic Pro too. The Mavic just about wins all categories - ease of flying, portability, charge duration... Even though my Phantom has a better camera for stills, I end up using my Mavic Pro more often because it is so much easier to have with me and the photo quality almost on par with the Phantom 4 Pro.

I should have spent the money on this a year a long time ago versus paying for a cheap one to learn on. This one is so easy to fly and has so many great features. Controls well and really does well in the wind. The range is out of this world! Not literally. Wish the controller allowed for bigger phones and tablets like the phantoms though.

This is an insane drone, you can read that anywhere. It has numerous intelligent flight modes that make operating it trivial, and produces gorgeous and smooth video. It is different from the Phantom in that it is slightly smaller when unfolded and lighter, meaning its ability to cope with the wind should (according to physics) be reduced. However, in my experience this is not true. It does suffer from slight hiccups of the gimbal when the aircraft, for example, suddenly stops but this is minor in my opinion. Also, the gimbal does have a slight tilt to it which should be correctable in the application by calibration. Also, leaving the gimbal cover on will produce noticeable glare / light artifacts in the video -- im not sure if this could be corrected by using a different material for the cover. What I want to focus on in this review is BestBuy's insane ability to deliver this drone to me when everyone else was sold out. Bravo BestBuy - you've earned (back) my respect.

There isn't one bad thing I can think of about the Mavic Pro. The portability with it folding up is great. Pictures and 4K video is amazing. Sport mode is awesome for that extra boost of power. And I guess the only thing I'd have negative to say about it is that I purchased the Fly More combo pack along with it and the bag needs to be a little bigger.

First off, this drone takes amazing pictures, the quality is top notch. It’s easy to fly and folds down to a compact size for storage.

I've been waiting quite awhile to break down and buy a drone. I've researched a bunch, from the Spark to the Phantoms, to the KARMA to the Beebops....as I was looking for a great tool not just for fun but that works within my real estate business as well. This, while not being the most expensive (nor the cheapest for that matter), seems to have all the bells and whistles I could need. So many flight modes and pretty intuitive controls (once you take the time to go thru the tutorials and get it all set up). I'm using it paired with an iPhone 8+ and have only been taking some "test flights" prior to actually implementing in my day to day business here in San Diego and I like it so far. I bought the "Fly More Combo" - get it for the extra batteries, car charger and multi-battery charging base as well as the extra propellers!!! Why the 4 Stars? Likely because I've only had it a week and the setup process was more tedious than I anticipated.

Great little drone. Not as stable as the Phantom series in windy conditions, but very easy to fly. I have the P3P and the P4 also, and the Mavic fills the niche between decent image quality and portability. You can be in the air in just a few minutes. The reason for 4 stars is the software. I've had constant nagging issues with the DJI Go app not connecting to the drone. I have Android devices, and they all react the same. Apparently the IOS devices work better. If you read the forums, just about everyone has the same complaint. Frustrating to spend this much money on something that you have to struggle with to get it to work.

Talk about a full packaged quad that Is one of the coolest RC items I’ve boughf in years . Easy to fly , great for filming life !

I did a lot of research before buying a second drone to add to my fleet and the Mavic was the best choice for what I wanted. (4K camera, fully stabilized, and small enough to bring anywhere) It also has obstacle avoidance on the front, which was a plus, incase you happen to lose connection (which I never have) the drone will safely return home. I have only flown it about a mile away (which is plenty for me). I maintained full signal to the drone, no glitching screen or lost connection, the entire flight. I look forward to testing this distance more tho. I bring my Mavic almost everywhere I go. It's quiet enough not to draw a lot of attention to it and the video quality is great. The only downside to the Mavic that I have found is that the camera takes a little playing around with if you're not an experienced photographer/videographer. This is easily remedied by watching a few YouTube videos on "best Mavic settings".

So I've had a drone for awhile, but I was looking for something that had a little better camera, one that was gimbal mounted for stability. I was actually looking hard at another brand, but kept seeing articles and videos on the DJI Mavic Pro. Well, after a few hours of reading and watching I was hooked. And the icing on the cake, my local Best Buy had one in stock!!!! I opted for the Fly More Combo, although it was slightly out of my budget. It made perfect sense, the Combo gets you 2 extra batteries, extra props, a charging hub to charge multiple batteries, a car charger, and a bag to carry it all......what more could you ask for! This drone is amazing, it can fly itself with a variety of Intelligent Flight Modes, or you can flight completely manual. And it has a great 4K gimbal mounted camera that takes amazing pictures. You won't be sorry with this drone. [NOTE: the charging hub does not charge multiple batteries at the same time, it just allows you to connect up to 4 batteries to the hub. The smart charger will charge the battery with the most remaining power first and then move to the next battery.]

It is a blast to fly, the 4k camera gets amazing footage. Simple to fly. If battery wasn't only 30 minutes I'd fly it all day

I spent a long time reading up on this drone and it does not disappoint. Folds up for easy transport, well built and fun to use. Flying it is a joy. Super stable and the video quality is great. Take your time to learn it before going all out with it. The only drawback for me is the limited amount of locations to fly in the area I live.

The mavic is now my favorite drone to fly. It responds well, has a good flight time, is a blast to fly with a great camera.

I am very impressed with the Mavic Pro as i have a DJI 2 a Yuneec Typhoon H and a Tornado H920 (Yuneec) the picture and camera are pretty nice and comparable, plus its fast light folds up and came with extra propellers and most important in stock no waiting. I hope they come up with a repair GEEK squad for all of us drone finatics.
