Excellent drone for anyone looking to get into the drone hobby. Top of the line software. Camera is great for this little drone.

This thing is amazing, it blows me away how great it is for the price. If you were wondering if this thing is good. It does what the more expensive drones do but for way cheaper.

All I can say is the coworkers at the Rib Mountain Best Buy are why I still shop at Best Buy! These people made my month! After making mistake after mistake when it comes to making an important purchase they made sure I left a happy customer. The technology is amazing and I’m hooked when it comes to the DJI MINI 2.

This was a replacement drone...so I already knew is was a great drone. Obviously, the designers listened to the users and made several design improvements, and flight programs updates that really give you a lot of bang for your buck. Great for first timers, and more experienced drone pilots will find most features they expect.

What can I say this little drone got it all !!! Don’t hesitate to purchase one and the ease and speed of Best Buy make air even nicer to get it the day you order it ! Not to mention insurance to know you can return it in 15 day window!

Bought mine 3 years ago. Used it mostly for taking car pictures. Started working as a field tech in a roofing company. Used the drone to take completion pictures of the roofs we installed. Owner loved it so much he ended buying the current model Mini 3 with the fly more package for my two co-workers. Only downside to this model I have specifically is the battery life. You get 20-30min of fly time depending on the weather. I will say these things can take a beating. I have rammed into trees by accidents a couple of times and the drone just takes it like a champ. This bad boy records in 4k and has incredible picture quality. Definitely recommend this to anyone in my field of work or if you like taking rollers of cars as well.

Best buy tried to sell me a used drone at full price. Items in the box were put back in the wrong order. Propellers have clearly been used. And the sticker to hold down the wings looks like it was placed back on after picking up some hair or fabric. This is all after they cancelled my order for extra batteries three times. When I chatted with support, all they did was say that they would check for an update on my order and then proceed to tell me my order was cancelled... Awful experience all around.

Drone came damaged again..........................

This DJI product was my first real drone. Can take it anywhere and I do. I’ve flown it in Ireland, the UK, Thailand and the USA. Travels very well. Excellent build quality. Camera much better than expected. Excellent control range. I’ve operated up to 6,000 feet distance and 1,500 foot altitude. Fully charged battery gives solid 30-minute duration in standard flight mode. If you opt for sport to gain speed and maneuverability, expect at least 10% less. Easy to fly. Lacks many of the sophisticated features in more expensive drones - like subject following and side collision avoidance - but it’s perfect as my first drone and recreational use. Buy a compact carry case on Amazon. There are many available if you prefer to travel light. I purchased the DJI triple charger and two extra batteries. ABSOLUTELY purchase the DJI Refresh plan and DJI Refresh + after the first year. I flew mine into a wall at Devil’s Bridge near Phoenix and got a “free” replacement at a nominal fee. In year two, I drowned #2 in the Gulf of Thailand. Camera captured the whole thing including a few seconds of underwater video! DJI replaced under the “flyaway” provision and even sent another battery. The cost for this replacement? ZERO. They even sent it to me in Hawai’i at no charge. Arrived before I did on the long flights from Thailand. Bottom line: great product and great company/customer support. Now if I can just stay away from sheet rock walls and seawater.

I have had the DJI Mini 2 Drone for about 9 months. Here are my findings: PLUSES - Compact, so does not require license - Excellent video - Can fly high and low at quite a distance from the controller - Some preset motions - Records on micro SD card onboard the drone - Replaceable rechargeable batteries - Stays steady in wind MINUSES - Does not work with my Android phone. Had to use my iPhone. - Does not avoid running into things, such as tree branches - Does not have a follow mode (that I can tell) - Battery only lasts about 20-30 minutes - Not waterproof, so cannot run in rain Overall, for the price and quality, I recommend this drone.

I have taken this on a few trips around the world and have LOVED it! Even had it out in some rather questionable winds, but managed to make it home. Photos were quite stunning. Might be able to get a better cam on some more expensive/bulky models, but if you just want some cool shots on a trip, this is the way to go. Hit a tree and broke a motor mount, but was able to repair it well enough with some super glue. No issues since the repair, although in high winds it complains of a motor spinning too fast, likely to compensate for my repair job.
