This device was simple thanks to the assistance I got was set up with the knowledgeable salesman from Best Buy. Opened it out of the box walked out in front of the store and set it up. Great drone and video/ photo quality. Easy to navigate. My only regret is not buying the fly more combo as I ended up buying extra batteries as they do not last long, as well as a case etc. for more money. Otherwise great value when on sale!

Amazing drone, it has high technology, small but with everything you need, the perfect drone.

I bought this because I wanted to try out a drone. This was the cheapest decent drone. This drone exceeded my expectations. Great drone to learn with. Photos and videos are great quality.

I'm a bit of a beginner to drones, though this was the 2rd Easy to use, the controller holds your phone much better than any other that I have tried, and folds away really easily.

Look: I am by no means an authority on drones. I started with cheap little helicopters, moved onto some cheap quadcopters, and now I have this magnificent beast. I am not exaggerating when I say that flying this thing is an absolute joy. The technology is stunning. The auto-hover, maneuverability and battery life are all shockingly good. The only real hurdle is getting used to the controls, which are pretty intuitive, it just takes time and practice and pretty soon you can get some really jaw-dropping footage. For the price of this drone, I cannot imagine a competitive alternative; they may exist, but I'd be stunned if they were superior in any capacity. This drone is tough as nails, you can run it into trees, walls, your houseplants...the shell is really strong and the blades will take a lot of punishment. It also comes with some replacement parts. The stability and gyroscopes in this drone are amazing, you can clip a tree branch and it will tumble and right itself without any input so long as it doesn't hit the ground. (Full disclosure, I did manage to kill my first DJI Mini 2 by being stupid. I managed to hit a tree flying fairly low and it tumbled onto solid concrete. So it's not invincible, but if you are flying over softer surfaces, I'm confident it could take pretty much any impact within reason. The moral of this story is...BUY THE INSURANCE, for a product like this with the possibility of doing something really stupid with, totally worth it. If you do buy this drone, GET THE ACCESSORY PACK! the extra batteries and the charger make this so much more fun. The battery life is great, but being able to swap out batteries makes this a much more fun activity in you don't have to stop for two hours to go at it again. Happy flying, and please do some research into the laws governing drone flight. This one is great because, for the time being, you don't need to get a license as it is under 250 grams. BE AWARE THIS MAY CHANGE. Be respectful, there are tons of places you can fly your drone without bothering or endangering anyone and be in compliance with the law. The DJI Fly app is also your best friend, it will show you on the map and tell you what type of airspace you are in.

I upgraded from a Spark to this and it was a great idea! There are really no negatives to this purchase - unless you are wanting to fly in more adverse conditions, looking for active tracking and obstacle avoidance, or need footage that is more appropriate for post coloring. Picture and video quality are fantastic for the price. The range and stability is amazing. Battery life is great (and spares are very affordable). Compared to the previous models (Mini 1, Spark, Mavic Air, etc) the new controller is definitely an upgrade. Hoping that DJI will bring “master shots” and possibly some sort of active track in the future, but if not, it’s still easy to fly and capture great footage. Love it!

I love this little guy. I have the Mavic Mini and just about every other DJI drone. This is the one that travels with me the most because of its size and ease of use. Video and pictures are terrific.

While I’ve only had this drone for a short time, it’s been a blast! The camera is very nice, takes excellent pictures as well as video and it’s been easy to pick up and learn so far. The battery however does die pretty quick but that was expected. While there are cheaper drones out there as well as ones that cost a lot more with a lot of bells and whistles, this one is a no frills straight to the point drove. Overall if you’re looking to get started with a drone that is of pretty good quality, I’d start here. I don’t regret this purchase one bit

I purchased this as a gift for my husband for Christmas - he absolutely loves it!! Very easy to navigate, doesn’t have to be registered with FAA as it’s under the weight limit and takes great video. Only thing I wish I had done was purchased the fly more combo with the storage case, batteries, charger, etc. I didn’t realize there was a combo and it was more expensive to purchase the accessories separately. Overall, great product and highly recommend!!

I ordered this for occasional professional use for real estate purposes. I wasn't expecting it to be so small and lightweight, which I really like. Battery life is really poor, and the battery drains when not in use, so this needs to be fully charged before you take it out. I bought a spare battery, which I recommend. Image quality is surprisingly good, & very responsive once it's in the air, with a good amount of customizable settings including RAW capability for stills.

I've had many drones over the yeas and this one is the best bang for your buck. Small, easy to use. It's a great purchase.

Awesome product, easy to use and always fun to fly!

This little guy is too fun! As a filmmaker it’s a great tool to have and worth the price! The only major downsides are the battery life and the lowlight capabilities are a little meh.

Good quality, great photo clarity and fun to operate. Not so great in strong winds but overall a great product.

After owning this drone for a month and for a first time drone pilot. I say hands down the best beginner drone that’s on the market right now. Takes awesome 4K videos with HIGH RES and the pictures that are taken from it are phenomenal. Only downside is your flight time is 28-30 minutes on a full charge but still the best beginner drone out there!

A perfect small drone for those starting out with the more advanced drones. The camera quality is magnificent and the drone's built in camera functionalities for while in flight or while hovering are numerous and handy. Intuitive design and control, but definitely has a learning curve to allow you to become a master drone pilot, but even starting out it's a blast to fly.

Tons of fun! Pretty easy to use and get used to. Handles very well in Florida gulf winds and still takes excellent real estate drone shots. My daughters enjoy playing with it to so we picked up extra batteries. I was a little worried that it would be difficult to learn how to fly, but after a few flights me, my 13 year old and my 7 year old all love flying it! The dJI mini 2 is awesome so far.
