Customers value the Mini 2 Fly More Combo Drone's camera quality, ease of use, and compact size. Many appreciate its surprisingly good range and stability, along with the relatively low price. However, some users wish it had obstacle avoidance and better collision sensors. A few also expressed concerns about the app's user-friendliness and flight time.

Never flown or messed with a drone before but this one makes it really easy. Highly recommend this if you want to get aerial shots or video. It does both incredibly well. Definitely worth the money.

I have bought and played with several drones that sounded great, but didn’t live up to the hype. This one does in spades. Flys like a bird, easy to operate and great photos

Excellent drone, beautiful 4k pics and videos! Hooked right up to phone and remote. Have already flown it 3 miles with no reception problems. And of course DJI and Best Buy quality.

I bought this as a replacement for my DJI Mini that I flew into a wall a week before an event I was shooting. If you’re gonna buy a starter drone, the Mini 2 is the way to go. From a decent price range, to the 4k video quality this drone will surpass any expectations a new dronie may have. The 2 also has 4x zoom on top of 4k quality making difficult shot easier to achieve. I did get my old drone repaired and DJI was very quick to repair it, great customer service. Pictures are of the first mini but they look exactly the same. Also, mini 1 batteries work with the 2 but not vice versa.

Overview: This drone and the Fly More combo is absolutely the best bang for the buck. It's so much fun to fly, and the battery life is awesome - I usually get 25+ minutes taking 4k video @30fps and flying non-stop. The handy carrying case has separators, padding, felt-lining, fits everything inside with enough room for more, and it's small enough to carry with me everywhere I go. I've flown this 2,600+ feet away with no loss of signal whatsoever, and it will go much farther than that. I haven't flown it above 394 feet (400 is the legal limit in the US), but there definitely is no concern about it being able to fly at higher altitudes above ground level. There also doesn't seem to be any delay at all between flight controls and the video either, which was a big concern of mine. The built-in video & photo features and functions are super awesome and there are quite a few to choose from as well. I also live at 5,000+ feet above sea level, so the thinner air doesn't even seem to make a bit of a difference. Complaints: The only one I can think of about this entire thing is that there is no "follow me" mode. It isn't really that much of an issue though, and there will likely be other 3rd party apps which will allow for this in the future (there is currently one for the Mini 1 only). Technical info: The aperture is fixed but you can adjust shutter speed, ISO, and white balance. Video can record up to 60fps in HD, but maxes out at 30fps in 4k. One last thing: This may be their least expensive drone, but there isn't anything "entry level" about it. The quality and features you get with this drone are excellent, and definitely exceeded my beginner-drone-long-time-photographer expectations. Knowing what I know now - if I had twice the budget and had to do this all over again, I would buy this and just spend the rest on accessories.

Lightweight, mobile friendly, takes great pictures and 4K video, the Drone doesn't do well during windy situations and could get carried off by it if up to high, it's weight is under FAA requirements for licenses but must have one if your using it for a business, batteries are little hard to get out if you have large hands & fingers like me

I'm reminded of a slogan, "you've come a long way baby". My current drone is the Phantom 3 and the new Mini 2 is way way beyond that in just 4-5 short years. It's so tiny it fits in the palm of your hand. And lite too! That low weight comes into play when you look at the FAA regulations. You won't need to register the drone because it falls under the 250g weight limit. Just because it's tiny doesn't mean it can't fly though. I took it out in some windy conditions, probably 15-20mph, and while it swayed a little while hovering, it was very responsive when flying and you wouldn't know by looking at the video it was that windy until you saw the trees rocking. Speaking of flying, the new Fly App was easy to use. You get a quick, interactive, guided tour of the interface when you go to fly the first time. You will actually be flying the Mini 2 within a couple of minutes as it has you take off, do a few quick maneuvers, and land. The app is so user friendly, you just push a button and the Mini 2 will take off and hover in front of you, and when it's time to land, press the button again and it will return back to where you started and automatically land (some caveats apply). Continuing on the flying aspect, the Mini 2 now connects to the controller via OccuSync 2.0. This means you can theoretically fly with a good connection for miles. The FAA requires you to maintain Line of Sight to the drone so you will have a hard time seeing it that far away but if you are flying within 1/2 mile you can easily see the drone and feel confident in the connection. That alone makes flying a dream. Once you've taken off, you can get beautiful 4k footage of your flight if you want to use the highest resolution. As the commercials say, "and that's not all!". You can actually zoom the camera! Ya, zoom. You can zoom up to double when shooting in 4k. The video quality will suffer a little but if the light is good, it's very useable. If you drop down into regular HD mode, 1920 x 1080, then you can zoom up to double and lose no resolution. It's crazy. And if you really need more zoom, you can go up to 4x in that HD mode. Just like the 4k zoom, once you go past 2x, you will start to lose video quality. If you like to shoot pictures as I do, the Mini 2 has you covered. It will shoot 12mp images that look really nice. What's more, if you like to do your own customization on the images, it allows you to shoot in Raw mode to produce a DNG file. That was reserved for only Pro-level equipment last year. The Mini 2 has more than just a single picture mode. It will shoot HDR images by taking 3 differently exposed images in AEB mode (you will need to combine them manually though). It takes panoramic images. A full 360-degree images as well as a 180-degree image. It shoots that in Raw mode also. You can grab the files from the SD Card and stitch them yourself. You've undoubtedly seen some interesting footage over the years where the video circles an object, or shoots up in the sky. Quickshots mode handles all that camera and drone movement for you to get the same cool video. Let's talk about flying time. The Fly More Combo comes with 3 batteries and that cannot be understated at how important that is. Realistically you get about 25-28 minutes of flight time per battery before you get into an area where you will need to land the craft safely. You won't believe how quickly those 25 minutes are. Having a couple of extra batteries allows you to fly for a long time and position yourself to get the shots you want without having to rush. You also get a 3 hub battery charger which makes charging the batteries very easy. It won't charge all 3 at once, unfortunately, but you won't have to worry that forgot to unplug one before charging the next. If the batteries aren't enough in the Combo, it comes with a very cool carry case for the Mini 2, controller, batteries, and accessories. Again, you're going to buy a bag anyway so you might as well save money and get it in the Combo Pack. It also comes with a few sets of propellers. Eventually, they will need to be changed due to normal wear our you scraping it on something, and they are basically freebies in the Combo pack so again, why not! If you've been looking for a camera drone that is packed with high-end features and a great price then the Mini 2 Fly More Combo is amazing.

I purchased this DJI to replace the DJI Mini, and the first thing I really appreciated was less waste on the packaging for the Fly more combo. Everything came in the nice camera style bag. This is a great drone for anyone that has some experience with flying. The DJI Mini 2, like the first mini, does not have any obstacle avoidance except the bottom sensors. But the camera is my favorite upgrade with he additional camera features and additional flight time. I would only suggest that you buy the FlyMore combo. Gives you the best experience when your out wanting to fly this drone.

If you have the Mavic Mini and want to upgrade, you should get the Mini 2. If you have the Mavic Pro then that decision can be a toss-up. If you have the Mavic Air 2 then the Mini 2 can be a great backup esp. if you want to travel light or just fly without restrictions. Lots of value with the bundle like the 2 extra batteries that can also be used as external charging port for other items!

Previously i owned dji mavic air and dji mavic mini. This drone cleared up all disadvantages off this two drone model. It has almost 30 minutes flight time and 4k video quality , raw photo capabilities. I sent 5km away on the sea this drone and there was no image interruption which is perfect. Only bad thing on this drone is , it doesn’t have enough sensor to avoid crashes and the other this is following mode is not available. You can solve follow mode and other quick shooting capabilities with third party applications. Sum of all it is quite perfect.

Originally I had ordered the Mini 3 Pro directly from DJI but it was hard to justify the price. Best Buy had this in stock same day, and obviously way cheaper for the combo. for my needs it’s perfect, I like it a lot. It’s very easy to fly and mess around with. Wish the controller was similar to the 3 pro just because I don’t like using my phone with it (the app takes up alot of space with the pictures and videos)
