Customer Ratings & Reviews

I love the underwater video quality, it accurately measures my depth while staying super tight with no water or sand getting inside from harsh waves and with the white balance sensor the colors look great compared to my old GoPro. The only thing I would improve upon is the super slo mo duration and transition time in the app but otherwise it’s great. I primarily use it on my scuba mask at the beach and on my chest for go-karing and it does well at both. I would buy again!

Perfect for my job. Everyone knows firefighters go to all types of emergencies. A part of our training involves critiquing performance and coming up with ways to improve. This camera has been critical with its clarity both day and night, stabilization and battery life for just that. I have had no problems with overheating or data loss. This is the best of the best and outperforms all of its competitors!

I’ve been using the DJI Osmo Action 5 for both personal and professional projects, and honestly, it’s never let me down. From day one, the battery life has been rock solid, and I never find myself worrying about missing a shot. The image quality is outstanding, and having multiple wide angles has been a game changer—whether I’m capturing a whole scene or focusing on the action, it gives me flexibility that really matters. The frame rates are another highlight. Shooting anywhere from 1080p to 4K with smooth 60 to 120 fps means I can get crisp, cinematic footage or slow things down without losing quality. It feels like a tool that adapts to whatever I throw at it. For anyone on the fence about buying, this camera strikes that rare balance of reliability, creativity, and performance. Whether you’re shooting for fun or for work, the Osmo Action 5 is one of those pieces of gear that just makes you feel confident you’ll walk away with great results.

The DJI Action 5 is a powerhouse in a compact body—crystal-clear 4K video, excellent stabilization, and rugged build make it perfect for any adventure. Battery life and voice control are top-notch too. Highly recommended!

This is my very first action camera, and WOW! I’m blown away! The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro delivers incredible quality. The videos are super crisp, the colors pop, and the stabilization makes everything look smooth and professional. I wasn’t sure what to expect as a beginner, but this camera made it so easy. From unboxing to recording, everything felt simple and fun. I’m genuinely excited every time I use it, and it’s already become one of my favorite gadgets. If you’re thinking about getting an action camera, this one is definitely worth it. I absolutely love it!

I've only had the Osmo Action 5 Pro for a few days, but I've already been impressed with it. Setup was straightforward, the touchscreen is responsive, and the camera feels solid without being bulky. The image stabilization is one of my favorite features so far. Walking and handheld footage comes out much smoother than I expected, and the 4K video looks sharp and detailed. I also really like having screens on both the front and back. It makes framing shots much easier, especially when recording yourself. Battery life has been impressive so far, and the interface is simple enough that I didn't have to spend much time figuring everything out. One of the main reasons I chose the Action 5 Pro was that I wanted something compact that I could easily bring on trips and use without relying on my phone. So far, it has delivered exactly what I was looking for. I'm still exploring all of the settings and features, but my first impression has been excellent. I'm looking forward to using it a lot more.

This is the first action camera I’ve ever purchased and I’m glad I went with DJI over the competitors. Worked Flawlessly on a chest mount in super wide mode when I went out for a cruise in my motorcycle, not to mention night mode works extremely well. And shot great video out at the beach while surf fishing. I definitely enjoy this camera and the functionality it offers. Waiting till the charging handle comes in stock at my local Best Buy so that I can pick that accessory up and use it for my vlogs.

DJI cameras consistently deliver exceptional performance, blending cutting-edge technology with user-friendly design. This action 5 camera, like those found in the DJI Mavic and Osmo series, provide stunning image quality with 4K and even higher resolutions, excellent dynamic range, and vibrant colors. Features such as intelligent shooting modes, advanced stabilization systems, and smooth gimbal movements make them ideal for professional videographers like me and casual creators alike. Whether capturing breathtaking aerial footage or cinematic ground shots, This DJI camera stand out for their reliability, innovation, and ability to make complex shots easy to achieve. They’re a fantastic choice for anyone looking to elevate their creative projects. I give it 2 thumbs up

By far one of my favorite pocket cameras, for it to be a waterproof camera as well. It packs an amazing punch in quality. I’ve done a few photoshoots & small visuals for artists that really enjoyed how both video & photo quality presented itself. You just can’t beat how fast the charge time is. The duration of how long you can record just out beats its competitors. And it’s magnetic !!, it stuck to my refrigerator, I went bowling and got a few high angles and good side angles. I haven't been disappointed. I will be doing a live review for my YouTube soon for it :)

I am surprise by the quality of this action camera. I use it everyday and really happy on my decision. Battery life is so great more than 3.5 hours. Internal built in storage is so much helpful. Will recommend to everyone to get this one if anyone needs action camera.

We absolutely love our DJI camera! It’s super lightweight and easy to travel with, yet delivers amazingly clear pictures and videos. We’ve used it on several snorkeling adventures, and it captures the underwater colors and movement beautifully. It’s fun to use and feels really durable. Definitely a must-have for anyone who loves exploring the ocean!

The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro 4K exceeded all my expectations. The video quality is absolutely stunning, with vibrant colors, exceptional stabilization, and crisp 4K resolution that makes every shot look cinematic. It’s incredibly easy to use, even for a beginner — intuitive menus, quick setup, and smart features like voice control and quick-switch modes. The build quality feels premium and rugged enough for extreme adventures. Compared to other action cameras, the value for the price is unbeatable. Whether you're filming sports, travel, or daily vlogging, this camera delivers professional-level results without hassle. Highly recommended!

I took a chance and bought the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro camera..and it is the best decision I made. I am a YouTuber and it’s perfect. I love everything about it. I’m a newbie at this and the manual walked my through everything easy explained clear perfect videos..the night pictures and moving about, perfect. i tried out all the features and it didn’t disappoint…the price was very affordable. I have no complaints and I recommend. My only regret was not buying all the accessories at the same time. I haven’t had an issue with overheating..but I love and recommend this camera.

This camera has done me great with the battery and the camera quality. I always have it on my chest while I use my bike and it has been great. And it charges way too fast so you most probably don’t need a new battery unless you wanna record constantly

This camera better than the Action 6. Video quality is absolutely superior - in fact we returned our 6 to buy another 5 because the video and audio quality is unmatched. Excellent mic. Intuitive and beginner friendly interface. Tons of video options/dif settings. Amazingly waterproof. The "Rock steady" Stabilization is unreal and adds a professional level of shooting quality that makes even beginners look professional. Its tiny and discreet and they also sell accessories like the case and tripod seen in our photo. U can see us use this camera daily on our YouTube channel Pjsmoments (P & J)

After using it for a while, I feel that the overall action camera is very small and can record the moment at any time. It has strong waterproof performance. It is an excellent product.

I love this camera, its sweeping, the microphone when recording is something sharp and clean when listening to the videos and seeing what you recorded, the sharpness of videos as much as day and night the 4k I love how it defines it is the best camera you can buy

I absolutely love this camera! It’s extremely durable and built to handle any type of weather, which makes it perfect for traveling and vlogging on the go. I’ve used it in rain, heat, and even near the ocean — it never disappoints. The quality and reliability are top-notch, easily one of the best purchases I’ve made for my adventures!

The Osmo Action 5 is an absolute best action camera. Quality video, long battery life and never overheats. My second Action 5 and also have one Action 4. Also have the Mic 2.

Absolutely LOVE this camera. For a small action camera this has AMAZING video quality. I use it for dirtbike videos and people always comment how clear and cinematic the footage looks! 10/10 definitely recommend. Best action camera on the market by far!
